Just back from our first MNSSHP. We are now going to plan our trips around the party. We arrived at MK at about 5 pm (just my husband and me) and were able to walk on Splash and Big Thunder. We were basically able to walk on all of the rides the whole night.

We did do some trick-or-treating and we got about 300 pieces of candy. We didn't hit all of the treat spot and we didn't have kids with us. So I am thinking all of the cute kids went home with a load.

I would say about 50%+ of adults were in costume and about 75% of kids in costume. Lots of cute costumes. One woman was decked out as Mrs. Potts, very cute.

The fireworks were great and so was the parade. I was a bit disappointed that they had the specail "Hallowishes" fireworks all week, not just at the party.

Any questions, let me know.

We did the mnsshp last year.We had a great time, but we really didn't care for the colored lights as it were.We rode all the rides and got some candy. We dressed up in 50's attire and even stayed in POP in the 50's section. We enjoyed it,but probably won't do it again. We prefer going early and staying late, with regular lights.Although, like I said,we did get to ride rides with literally no waiting at all. That was the cool thing about the mnsshp. ::MickeyMo

Thanks for posting :earsboy: We are going to MNSSHP Oct 30 for the first time. I'm sure my dd8 and dd12 will trick or treat. Is there a place you can leave the bags of candy while you are on the rides? Or do you take the candy with you?

TIA
Terri

Glad you had a good time! We leave in six days & are going on the 11th. I will be finishing my costume tomorrow! We are going with an Alice in Wonderland theme! I can't wait. This week is going to fly by!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :bounce: :wave2:

Just arrived home one hour ago. We did MNSSHP (9/30) and we loved it! The parade was fun! It was just me and my husband and we felt like kids, we got so much candy. We didn't dress up because it was our first year and now we're talking about going again. The candy was great to eat on our 8 1/2 hours drive home.

It's really fun and the fireworks was great as well!

We are also going on the 30th. Count down begins!!! I just need to finish our costumes.

Ohh, I truly hope that isn't the case next week wehen we are there! I booked this vacation especially since when I was there in May and fell in awhhhh, over wishes.. I cant get the song and feeling out of my head! I need to see WISHES!!

O.k.. Sorry for the rant!

Did you need a reg ticket to get in at 5pm or just your MNSSHP ticket? I have an ADR at CRT for 405pm for 3. 2 of us have AP's but the other of us does not. We do not want ther to have to waste a day of her MYW pass for dinner, KWIM?

You'll only need your MNSSHP tickets. :)
