Just got back from our trip to Walt Disney World from 10/18 - 10/20.
Arrived on Saturday, 10/18 and went straight to the Magic Kingdom. The most we had to wait for a ride was 10min (Peter Pan). Walked right on PhilharMagic and Small World. Only had to get one FP all day (Buzz). Would suggest getting there early as the crowds were there in the afternoon. Walked right up to Share a Dream Come True parade and got front row seat by the Barber Shop.
Came back to MK around 6pm and people were getting seats for the first SpectroMagic parade. Walked over to Jungle Cruise, but the waith was over 1 hour. Rode Alladins carpets (5min wait). We then went to Haunted Mansion and had 5min wait. Started walking towards castle for the Wishes firewroks but we could not get any further than Sleepy Hollow refreshments stand! The crowd was packed like sardines! We didn't have the best seats, but still saw most of the show. What an awesome display ! Watched second SpectroMagic parade by the Emporium. Front row seats again.
Went to Epoct on Sunday AM and rode Spaceship earth (10min wait) then played at Innoventions. Light crowd. Went back to resort to gear up for MNSSHP.
Arrived at MK around 5pm. Got in and was directed towards Tommorrowland. Got picture taken early (around 6pm). Rode Buzz (no wait). Walked around and soaked up the atmosphere! My wife got a MNSSHP shirt (They are purple this year and look AWESOME!) Watched the first parade in front of the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square. This is the THE PLACE you need to be. A story teller came out in fron tof the Liberty Bell to tell the story of the "headless horseman". Had great view of the headless horseman as he came over the bridge ! PArade was awesome as usual! Roade Haunted Mansion (MUST do at the party) rode Pooh, PhilharMagic...with little to no waits.
All-in-all, crowds were heavy, but nothing like summer. Very managable if you get things done early. Will be back next year!
