Just back and had a great time (will post some photos a bit later as work permits). We also took the VMK insider tour and ended up comming back with about 48 cards (with codes for items). I highly recommend it! My after getting up at 3am yesterday at AS Sports, riding the bus to the air port, standing in line for the plane at 6am, sleeping part of the flight back (my sincere appoligies to anyone on that plane if I snored), flying back into Nashville, then driving for 5 hours home... my son set was up till 11pm last night putting in codes and fixing up his rooms.
Oh, and a warning for those looking to get their MHSSHP pins.... We were some of the last people out of the park (it was close to 1am when we left out and much to my dismay they have changed the location where the sell the pins! It's no longer at the Emporium (that stays open late). It's at the building on the left as you leave (I forget the name) and it closes early! There were some other people there when we arrived trying to get their pins (one dressed in a red devil costume) and they were VERY upset. I knew I was comming back in the next day so I let it drop. When I came back the next morning for the VMK tour, I stopped in and asked them if I could get the pins from the party and they directed me to the Jewelers 3 doors down. I went down and we were able to get our pins. I did have to show our bracelets and let them punch a hole in our MNSSHP passes to get them but I figured as much.
So, the moral of the story is: Either get your pins early, leave early, or be prepared to go back the next day with proof of your attendance.
