So we went up to lovely MN to enjoy the forests and wilderness for one whole week. No wifi, cell phone coverage, I was lost without Facebook.

It was cold!!!! 51 deg with rain for four days. Ah well, no one can predict the weather. The only positive was that we got to sight see more (and try not to hit the deer that kept bounding out in front of the car).

I did manage to visit Judy Garland's birthplace in Grand Rapids, MN. I took some pictures of some Wizard of Oz memorabilia as well as photos of her and her home (from birth to age 7).

Back to civilization and mosquitoes that are normal size, not the size of small cats.

How I wish we went to Disney!!!

Glad you had fun!

I've been up there in the summer, its true! The mosquito's up there need a collar and leash!

51 degrees in July and my family has hit multiple deer in rural MN....

and people wonder why I moved to Disney:cool1:

Wowee! That's some kinda' vacation! :scared: I'll stick with Florida and the 100,000 pythons in the 'glades. :teeth:

Yeah, huh? S'up with that? :teeth:

The state is trying to decide what sort of python hunt they are going to endorse. Just let the pet stores recycle them, eh? That's where most of them probably came from in the first place. :confused3

Welcome back.....

Better order that Dismey planning DVD now! :lmao:
