Just back from Magic 7/27 any questions?

I can not begin to tell you but this cruise was great!!!!!!!!!!!!! Disney should pay us to advertise because they get bunch of stars for this one. We were on Royal Carribean in Feb and it does not compare but you have to have the kids it makes it that much better. Where to start whi knows maybe at the buffet lunch leaving Miami which had huge peel and eat shrimp. We had a cat 10 room which was fine. The rooms and the ship were immacutlate. The crew did anything and everything. We used yourride for our trnasfer which they were great. And a great price. The programs for the kids I give them 2 thumbs up and then some. Well pick my brain and aks away if any one has a question or 2. Bring your own drinks aboard also as my steward got me my own cooler in my room. And yes we already booked for Dec 6, 2003 Western cruise. This was our 4th cruise and we think Disney did a great job.

Ask away and hope everyone has as nice a cruise as we did.

1.) How did you manage to bring your own drinks? Bring it with you or put it with your luggage.

Did you go to Palo's? If so, were the reservations easy to get?

scottyboy- We were on the 7/27 Magic also and it was wonderful! We also took our own pop and beer on are glad we did! Saved a lot of $. We just carried it on ourselves!
We did go to Palo's for brunch and dinner and had no problem getting the days or times we wanted!
The only excursion we did was the 12-metre regatta on St. Maarten and it was GREAT!
Others in our group did the "under 2 flags" tour and were not thrilled with it.
We went to St. John and our own and had a wonderful day!
Can't wait to do the western itinerary!

As far as bringing on your own drinks i walked with 2 cases of beer and 2 big bottles of wine and they were right in shopping bags you will have no problem. We went with the 2 little ones this time so we did not do any excursions but we have been to the east and west before so here are a couple of tips. If you go to St.Thomas make sure you go to Megans bay it was really nice. If you go to the western ake sure you do a sting ray excursion in Grand cayman very nice. Cozemel make sure you paly minature golf ask where the place is it is a lot of fun and you can order your drinks right on the course as they give you walky talkies and you just place your order. As far as reservations for Palo no problem just when you get on the ship go on up and make them. Enjoy and if any one else has any questions please ask away because these boards are a big help.
