Price per point will go up on June 3 to 75.00 per point. The MB has changed as of today. You can sell back half your points on purchase over 100 points at 5.00 per point at VWL. Vero Beach sell back has changed from 13.00 to 10.00. HH MB stayed the same, 100% of points at 10.00 per point on purchases over 100 points.

I was told by 2 reps at the member meeting that HH was 70% sold out and then by a 3rd sales rep that it was now 80% sold out(10% in 2 days?) They also said that BC construction has been put into high gear and that it will be ready summer of 2002. They said there will be presales of BC when VWL sell out.

DVC is trying to slow the sales of VWL by raising the price per point and cutting the MB program. At the current rate of sales they expect VWL to sell out by fall and they were hoping it wouldn't do so until BC was ready.

Whats next? Bonnet Creek will probably be the next DVC resort. I was told it will be bigger than OKW. Because of the setup at Animal Kindom Lodge they will probably not put a DVC there.

Thanks, Fenceman, for the info. All of us who are anxious for Beach Club to be done are glad to hear they may do presales! My husband wonders if I will EVER think I have enough points. ;)

I have read this location before on these boards and saying that it may be the next DVC site. My question is where is Bonnet Creek?

To quote Doc from a previous post:

"Bonnet Creek is the golf club just before you get to the Fort Wilderness area on the way to MK from OKW. It consists of 2 courses- Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines."

Or around the corner from the MK!

I would think that an official announcement and breaking ground should happen VERY soon.

BCV is also small, as in not that many units, it will probably sell out in under a year also. Unless they make the point schedule ludicrously high. Building a full scale, stand alone resort is going to take a bit more time. BCV is going to be two years in construction....can they do a new Bonnet Creek in two years? Even if they could, we could possibly be two years away from BCV selling out now.

I guess OKW sized units in a beautiful resort would be another way to keep peopl buying with the 2042 date looming. I just don't know how they will justiry the higher point schedules. Without being in an area that you can walk or monorail or something, to a park, they are going to have to do something to justify the higher point schedule that I am sure they are going to have.

Rich,

Beach Club Villas will have 205 units. That's quite a few more than Villas at Wonderless Lodge.

I thought FL law prohibited selling of timeshares before the units are completely built. Wonder how they'd get around that to do presales?

With VWL, didn't they start selling early (November?) but the closings did not occur until after the official opening date (January?). Maybe that's how they get around it.
