Sorry for the break in the report but we went away for the weekend and after being on vacation last week.....I have so much to catch up at work. :scared: Also, thanks for the nice replies and the understanding about the length of these reports. I am a "detail" person. :rotfl2:

So here goes Day Two.

It is now Saturday morning and our plans were to be at MGM by 8 AM for the Extra Magic Hour! Well, we didn't quite make 8 AM but we were in the car at 8:30 AM and walking into the park at a little before 9 AM. :smickey: We were all still dragging a little from the travel day before and we all agreed that we needed to do things at a reasonable pace while at WDW. So we took our time in the morning. It was so nice to be able to have some breakfast (toast, yogurt, juice, etc.) at the cabin before leaving for the parks. Even with 4 adults and a child in the cabin, showering and finding space like mirrors was very easy. Some of us are "early morning" people so we made sure to be done before the others awoke each morning.

We brought the GS's stroller from home so we didn't need to stop on the way in to rent one. I had to convince the DS & DIL to bring it as they were leaning on renting one. I told them how tired everyone would be at the end of the day and a tired 3 year old would need to be carried from the park...to the tram....to the car....in VERY hot weather. Other than the nuisance of having to fold it up now and then, it was great to have it for other places as well.....like Downtown Disney and FW. (Yup....Mom knows best... sometimes! ;) )

I was amazed when we got to MGM how close we were able to park. I know a lot of folks take the WDW buses to the park but we could have easily walked from our row to the park entrance. I believe in saving steps wherever possible since there is plenty of walking every day, so we still took the tram to the park's entrance. We were carrying several bags with everything from water & snacks, cameras, etc. to a change of clothes for the little guy so we had to go into the bag check line. They did move along pretty well but some of the CM Security folks were much more detailed in their looks than others....and I always seem to be able to pick the WRONG line!

We headed right off to get tickets for the Playhouse Disney show. We could have gotten any times we wanted and chose the 10 AM show. Again, for my GS, it was an awesome show. The "tent' was also very well air conditioned and made a great cooling off time. If this is something you're interested in, you need to goi there first thing and get tickets for the shows as you cannot walk up to the show most times of the year.

The Rock n' Roller Coaster was closed or we would have gone out to get a ride so we headed off to Star Tours. I won't got into too much detail on all the rest of our activities at the parks since most everyone knows what is available. We had made ADR's at Hollywood & Vine for 12:55 PM. We did have to wait about 20 minutes but it was worth the wait. The food was very good and the caracters that came around during the meal were great. My GS loved them all and they really did not rush through. We did see the Stars & Motor Cars parade which was also enjoyable for us all. It was another very hot and humid day and we did find plenty of places for cooling off. Also, there was virtually no waiting longer than 10 - 15 minutes for any attraction. :cool1: We left the park around 5:00 PM and got back to FW around 5:30 PM. We did not have any rain while we were there but as soon as we left, it started sprinkling but nothing like the night before!

We all went to the small pool for a swim when we got back. The pool was very quiet and at one point we were the only ones there. The water had to be about 85 as I went right in! :fish:

We were too full from lunch for anything substantial for dinner so we had some leftovers from the Roarin Forks. I stayed with GS as he went to bed and the others took the cart down to the beach to watch the water parade and the Wishes fireworks from the beach. We probably would have gotten a couple of counter service meals if they were available in FW but no one was up to traveling to get one either at WL or DTD.

Again, it was so quiet and we were all so tired that I think we were all in bed and asleep by 10 PM! It was a very nice day all in all and taken at a leisurely pace.:donald: :simba: :dumbo:

Okay....Day 3 to come ....maybe tonight!:yay:

More Judy, more!! You've got me so pumped for our trip in 1 month! Love Day 1 & Day 2, definitely no such thing as too long of a trip report! Keep it comin'!:thumbsup2
