I won't say we LOVED it but we really liked it. The hotel is extremely nice and is in a great location. We stayed in room 8034 a 1 bedroom/lakeview, which is on the 10th floor. We looked out onto the Contemporary Pool, skywalk, and Bay Lake.

We have never stayed at a MK resort so that was pretty cool. We found ourselves checking out other hotels, which we have never done before. Loved the Poly resort may have to consider staying there some day.

I honestly didn't care for the quick service restaurant at the Contemporary (Contempo Cafe) we don't really eat Table Service so it kind of bummed us that we didn't care for our quick service. We did enjoy Cap'n Cooks at Poly though. (Loved the Aloha Pork Sandwich..yummy) We also had breakfast at Chef Mickey's and that was fine as usual.

I do have a ton of pictures I can probably post some if anyone wants to see.

Honestly I don't know. I think we are just used to the Epcot resorts and have our favorite places to eat, Storm along Bay etc...BLT was a wonderful hotel though.

why did you not love BLT? -

I can't speak for OP, but I also just got back from a 4-night stay at BLT. Although the room was 'modern' and neat looking, we found the furniture in the living room extremely uncomfortable (actually, the same with Kidani Village where we spent the previous 5 nights before BLT). We kept saying it was because they were sofa-beds, but we never found the sofa-beds at OKW, SSR, BCV, or BWV to be uncomfortable like that. We always felt like we were falling off them. It may be awhile before we choose to go back to one of these resorts.

Otherwise, the BLT location and access to the monorail was awesome!!

My wife and I are also "Epcot resorts" people, especially our home resort, BCV.

We personally love BLT and the Contempo Cafe, but I can see why someone wouldn't. The urban high rise look and feel is probably not for everyone but suits our taste just fine. Also, we find the furniture in the 1 bdrms very comfortable.

Thank goodness we are not all the same though. It would certainly be boring.
