Well what more can I say, we have been back from Disney World for 4 days now, and I feel a bit depressed. This was DS9 and my first trip and he's a little depressed too. We had sooo much fun we didn't want to leave. Being in Disney was like being in a fantasy for me, I've wanted to go there my whole life and my DH made my dream come true. I am soooo grateful to him.
We stayed at ASSports and was given a preferred room upon check in. We stayed in the Surfs Up building, this was the closest building to the End Zone Food Court and the bus stops. We absolutely loved this resort, my DS9 was amazed we are all big sports fans. GO LSU!!!!! And if you were there between 11/18-11/25 like us, you would have wondered what was up with all the LSU fans in the parks. We had a couple of people ask us if LSU was in a Championship or something. All we could do was laugh.
We were on the DDP and loved it. We ate some really good meals. My family's favorite meal of course was O'Hana's at the Poly. All the food was delicious but the Bread Pudding with the rum/banana sauce was the bomb. I wanna go back just so I can have the dessert. The only meal my DH didn't like much was The Garden Grill, mainly because he doesn't eat vegetables and he didn't like the meat either. However, I loved it, but we took a family vote and will not be returning there. Coral Reef was another good meal. My main complaint about any of the food was there was no spices, next time we go I will be traveling with my Tony's and Tabasco Sauce. Can you tell I'm cajun?!?
The parks were awesome and so were the rides! The Christmas decorations were beautiful. I esp. loved the snow in MGM. Hats off to the Osbourne family for the Spectacle of Lights. It was like being in a dream.
I'm already making plans to go back in Feb 08. My son's birthday is Feb 3 and Mardi Gras falls on Feb 5 that year, this will be a wonderful birthday present for him. How will I survive until our next trip?
I wish I knew how to post pics so I could so everyone how happy we were. Well I have rambled enough about my trip I hope you guys enjoy reading it.
