After all the hype of staying at CSR from reading Buzz's website to photos of the resort, we were all actually slightly disappointed. The hotel grounds were beautiful. While we didn't get our room request in the Cabanas, we were located in Casitas 5 (which wasn't bad). The rooms were comfortable and mousekeeping was great. So why were we disappointed???

The outlet for the coffee maker and hairdryer was broken and they couldn't relocate us. The convention crowds kept us awake into 2am-3am screaming. One night we were awoken by screaming profanity. However, we attribute this to being in room 5100 (on the end, by the elevators). Our friends two doors down did not have this experience. On Tuesday we decided to try out the Pepper Market. We were expecting it to be different based on reports. The layout was fine - we actually like to play "bingo" with our card. But the food was just ok...and well I got food poisoning. So we didn't go back.

We did; however, like the pool and the Rix cafe grab and go. The busses were quick usually, but on a few occasions we waited for over 45 minutes for one bus.

As for the parks - the parks were busier than expected, but wait times were great. The longest line we waited in was Peter Pan and that was probably 30 minutes.

Overall we had a great trip. We probably won't stay at CSR again, but I wouldn't say we had a bad experience. I'm glad we did decide to try it out because it did have many great perks.

Sorry to hear! I thought it was great and the longest we ever to wait for a bus was 10 minutes.

We also thought the food in Pepper Market was great, at their 3 times, twice for lunch and once for breakfast.

I agree with the Rix Cafe, that place is great, we always stopped there every morning and got something to go before we went to the parks.

We stayed at 6B which are in the back called the Rancheros and we never heard any racket at all.

orry to hear about the outlets not working, but hey, that could happen at any resort you stay at.
