Hi all!

We just returned early this morning from another incredible trip to WDW! It started off rocky but the rest was wonderful!

First stop CSR- I've always wanted to stay at the CSR so DH suprised me and booked 3 nights at the start of our trip, I was so excited. We arrived at around 2pm and went to check in, no line, great CM. We received a room in the ranchos over looking the quiet pool, right across from the Dig site. Went to our room and we were very happy, it was a nice quiet location, beautiful resort! We were hot and tired from driving all night from NJ so we decided to go to the pool, it was huge and really cool. It was VERY crowded but I figured well it's summer, of course it's crowded-lol. The only thing that bugged me was that there were lots of older(10 and up) kids in the baby pool, blocking the fountains so they'd spray all over and the babies in the pool would get squirted in the face and such and were all very upset, the parents were no where to be found. But I figured the place was so huge and it was unlikely we'd run into them again so I brushed it off and we took our DS(2) over to the steps by the pyrimid to play with our DD(7) and he was happy. But then a lot of older teens arrived and started jumping in the pool in their clothes and it got pretty crazy so we decided to go back to the room to relax.

That was when the fun began-lol. Our quiet location was now swarmed with teens EVERYWHERE! I'm not exaggerating they were all over-lol. They were screaming and yelling, the quiet pool had about 50 kids in it going nuts! Turns out they were from a large(1000 + according to the front desk) youth group trip. I'm not saying they were bad kids just typical teens away from their parents having a blast but not our idea of a quiet, relaxing vacation-lol. So DH went to the front desk and asked for us to be moved, the CM said she completely understood and they'd had many similiar requests that day. That's when she told us how large the group was, I guess it was many youth groups meeting together, and that it would be hard to place us away from them. They offered us a room in the Casitas. DH came back and we packed our stuff up and moved it to the car as we were leaving the Orange county sheriffs department pulled in and so did Disney security, The front desk said that many people had complained about the noise and called them. We left the building and drove over to the Casitas but the more we thought about it changing buildings really didn't solve the pool problem and since we were going to spend most of time there we decided to call CRO and see what else was available. Long story short..after getting disconnected(3 times, dumb cell phone-lol) and sitting in the parking over 1 1/2 we booked a room at the CR the only thing they had left-lol We stayed here in March in the NGW and although I enjoyed the CR it wasn't my favorite but we took it! We checked in and received the only non-smoking room they had left. it was in the South garden Wing with a view of a concrete wall but it was quiet and we were in heaven-lol! I never thought I'd be so happy to see those crazy rooms again but I swear it felt like the Presidential suite! lol.

CR-I liked the SGW better, our room was at the far end in the hall that parellels the water, it was facing the inside with a view of the wall and if you looked sideways the water way that connects the 2 lakes. The SGW seemed closer to things to me, I don't know if it actually is or not but it felt that way. We were close to the pool which was great and watched the EWP at night which we love. Everything was great, we ate at Chef Mickeys for breakfast(walk up, lucked out and got in!) and relaxed by the pool and recovered from being up for over 24 hours straight. Oh we also bought into the DVC while we were there but that's another story-lol. ;)

Our last day DH woke up early and drove over to the YC to check us in, he went over to the BCV to check them out since that was our home resort and then went over to the BC lobby, thinking it was the YC and checked in-lol! The CM was great and she said no problem she'd check us in there. DH joked around with her said if you could give us the best water view room(what we booked) you have that would be great or we'll love you forvever, something to that affect-lol. She asked well what would you like? He replied well if you could get us a room that has a view of the Boardwalk and is close to SAB it would be perfect and added another silly joke in there somewhere-lol.

YC-Dh came back and woke us all up around 10am and we packed up and headed over to the MK since our room wouldn't be ready till around 12:30 or so.We called over at around 2pm and received our room number and we went over to check it out. Well.........it was the PERFECT room!!! It was room 2161 it was on the second floor. If you walked up the steps in the lobby and past the elevators, make a quick left and it was just down the hall with a beauitful view of the lighthouse and Boardwalk. It was literally right next to lobby and minutes from SAB! It had a huge balcony and was very spacious with a day bed. It was so beautiful and really just about as close to perection was you could get! :teeth:

We had a wonderful stay there, the resort was incredible!!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, the resort and room were immaculate, Mousekeeping was wonderful our room was always done by 12pm and we never even left till after 10am each day. We spent a lot of time at SAB and had a blast, that pool has offically ruined all others for me forever! lol. After all the hype I read I didn't think it would be able to live up to my expections but it did. The sand bottom was wonderful, I swear my feet have never looked so good. ;) The kids LOVED it too. My DS(2) is farid of the water but loved the sand pool area , he stayed in it for hours. DD(just 7) loved the lazy river type part and so did DH and I. It was great having an area that was so deep!! I loved floating around there on our pool noodles, so much fun! Everyone, except for DS of course, tried the slide, it was really cool. DD also loved the small slide they had in the pirate ship part. The location was just great I loved being able to walk to Epcot and the boat to MGM was fun. We walked to MGM at night, we walked once during the day but it was just too hot so we took the boat after that. We never waited long for a boat or a bus even. Although when we went to MK most times we'd walk through Epcot and take the monrail just because DS loves them and we like to walk.

DD celebrated her B-day while we there and on her B-day we found a card addressed to her under the door. It was from Mickey and Minnie which she loved!

I really just can't say enough wonderful things about the YC/BC. Although I've loved some previous resorts we've stayed at I always wanted to try new places. I'd see people post about returning to the same place over and over and say oh I'll never do that! But after staying at the YC, I've changed my mind, I could stay there EVERY trip-lol. Which is a good thing since we bought into the DVC at the BCV and all-lol. ;)

I'll be happy to answer any questions!! :teeth:

Please forgive my typos but I'm very tired and feeling too lazy to proof read. ;)

So glad it turned out ok. Sorry to hear about the problems at CSR. Glad you loved the Yacht club and SAB - its on our resort list for future stays. If it weren't for the teen trouble would you stay there again ?

It sounds like you had a lovely stay at Yacht Club!!! :D We'll be there very soon, can't wait!:Pinkbounc Where did you eat while staying at the Yacht Club?

Definitely, the problems we had, had nothing to do with the actual resort itself. It was very pretty and the CM's were all very nice, we just didn't feel like staying in the middle of a giant teen party that's all.

It sounds like you had a lovely stay at Yacht Club!!! We'll be there very soon, can't wait! Where did you eat while staying at the Yacht Club?

We ate at Beaches and Cream for lunch and the Cape May cafe for breakfast. We also used the room service 3 times, they were all very good!
