Just back from CR 12/17-12/23

We returned late last night - my body is still on East Coast time!
We had a great time at the CR. We had a 1st floor room at the North GW. It was great. I was very happy with everything. Housekeeping was very good. Animal towels and great service. Fridge in the room and everything was in good shape. The only iffy part was the pool was not warm and did not seem very clean. We have stayed at the GF the past few years and went over for a visit and the pools were in much better shape there. The CR is a fun resort with lots of energy. The easy walk to MK from our room was awesome.
The only bummer was I got sick and barfed all night one night which really wiped me out for a day or two. DS & DH went out and had lots of fun in my honor while I slept all day and recuperated.
If anyone has questions please ask. I am happy to be home for Christmas!

Sounds like you had a good time for the most part. We love the Contemporary. I can relate to you on the sickness part. We went last December for a 5 day stay. We had a horrible flight down. Plane was 4 hours late and we spent 3 hours sitting on the tarmac. I think it was the worst flight I have ever had. By the time the plane landed in Orlando at 1:00am I was sick as a dog. Woke up in the middle of the night and barfed. The next day I was feeling better but was totally drained. DH and DS went to Epcot early that morning. I tried to get out of bed and meet them there but after only 1 hour at Epcot I was totally drained and had to go back to the hotel. Luckily the maid had been there and cleaned while I was out so I had a nice clean fresh bed to come back to. I slept for the rest of the day. The next day I was back to normal but I spent the rest of the trip missing my younger DS (only 8 months old at the time) who had stayed behind with Grandma.

Did you enjoy the Christmas decorations? Did you get a chance to attend MVMCP? That was the highlight of our trip.
