Well, we just returned last night from a 7 day stay at the CSR. First and formost the resort is BEAUTIFUL! I cannot stress that enough, the grounds of this resort are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. We paid for a standard room and were upgraded at checkin to a waterview of the lake...INCREDIBLE! It was the week before Easter so we were really impressed...We were in Cabanas 8B room 8228 which was a corner room so we had two windows, loved that! We were not far from the Dig Site and bus stop 4 was right behind us!
As far as the resort being big and spread out, it is, there is no way to get around that, you will always kinda have to walk somewhere. We had about a 10 minute stroll to the main building, not bad but a bit of a hassle at times and I wouldn't want to have to do it in the blazing August heat. The busses were not very good sadly, granted, it was a very busy week, so there was one day we waited for a MK bus for over 55 minutes then forgot about it and went to AK. We were at bus stop 4 so the busses would fill up at 1 & 2 and then just drive on by us. We figured that out pretty quickly, so would walk to bus stop 1, though I felt it still wasn't fair to those waiting and waiting at 3&4.
Housekeeping was another very sad issue. In 7 nights our sheets were never changed once and we called and complained 3 times (they never got changed) finally speaking with the manager of the entire resort and voicing our complaint ( we feel he componsated us accordingly) finally! Another thing, there was garbage under the bed (wrappers, small food pieces) that were there when we checked in and there when we checked out!
All in all it is a pretty place, very quiet, almost too quiet (if that's possible), and I guess we would stay there again. I feel it just lacked something, maybe Disney's special touch, that we have found in other disney resorts. Oh yeah and there was a tow-truck convention while we were there (yes, tow-truck)!
Any questions, just ask!

. I think you should wait at stop 4, if that's your nearest stop, and see what happens. Again, remember it was a VERY busy week in Disney. Now for the Pepper Market, we ate there twice with vouchers and it was WELL WORTH the money with the vouchers. They had all types of food that was very good and portions were large. We enjoyed it very much!
