Just Back from Comfort Suites Universal

We spent three nights here while visiting Universal Studios and IOA. The hotel was great. Room was very clean and the hotel was well kept. We had a king suite with a microwave and small refrigerator. The hotel is located on Major Blvd right across the street from the Universal studios parking garage and was very convenient to the parks. There are several places to eat around the hotel as well. We paid 49.00 dollars a night and booked through hotel kingdom.com if you need a clean nice place to stay that is close to the Universal area I would recommend this hotel.

Was this near a Days Inn? And if so did the hotel look run down? We have reservations and may change them to comfort suites since there is only a $9. difference in the rate. What do you think we should do?

I don't recall seeing a Day's Inn right off hand there are alot of hotels in this sectioin of Orlando. The Comfort Suites is a newer hotel maybe a year or two old

The Day's Inn is on Major right next to the Holiday Inn. It is an older property which gets pretty bad reviews. If the rate is not much different I would advise the change, strongly!

Thanks for the review, Europa! I did see this hotel on my trip in June and wondered if it was a nice place since it's in a great location.
