Just back from CBR

Wow, someone that disliked CBR more than us? :rotfl:

We didn't have as many issues with it as you, but we'd never let it ruin our stay. I do hope you get your refund. :)

Unbelievable!! Well actually it is believable. How many more of your fake names are you going to use to bump up this thread every day?

You've gone through half of them that you use to bump polls.

Why don't you let your favorite resort speak for itself instead of creating all of these fake names to do your marketing. Trying to make the other mods look bad. Bumping good reviews of your resort daily. Bumping the bad reviews of other resorts to make it look bad,

Seriously, why does it matter to you personally which resort is truly the "best"? Why must you create an illusion to make your favorite resort look more popular than it is on these boards?

You do nothing but a disservice to people looking for HONEST opinions about a resort. And using this thread as your daily bump is really exposing all of your fake names. You were called on it days ago but keep doing it, and it gets more and more obvious.

All you are doing is exposing yourself.

You know, LoraJ, I'm surprised also. I thought that after you called attention to the fake names, he would lie low for a while (the way he did after someone noticed how he copied a TripAdvisor review and used it on here). but it seems that just the opposite has happened.

I have counted - and this is a conservative numer - 11 names on this thread which are all the same person!!!!

13 is probably the actual number, but I am 100% sure of 11 of his names. It is done strictly to keep this negative CBR thread at the top. Some other CSR fans have said that it is done by fans of other resorts as well. That may be true to a very small degree, but it is NOWHERE near the scale that this one person is doing it. I would bet that he has well over 50 screen names, some which he uses to post, and some just to vote on polls.

So many people - including the mods - are aware of this, but he continues to do it.

I hope you don't think I'm a fake poster! :scared1:

I fit the low-posts description, but I'm for real, I swear!

j/k :)

Okay, I'll admit - you were one of the 3 "possibles" - simply because you
are in that group not liking CBR on this thread - which does include many fake names. But I wasn't sure, like I am of the 11 I mentioned. So, thanks for setting me straight! I will edit my earlier post! :goodvibes

I really want to know what purpose does it serve to create additional user names so that you can bump up bad reviews of your favorite resorts competition? You do realize that we can read your post history right? We can notice your C&P'd responses to the same exact threads as the fake screen name ahead of yours?

Ok...I'm confused.....So did the OP really have a bad experience or not....I just wanted to know because I'm staying at CBR in July and I have stayed there before but it was in 1996, 1997, 1999.

I believe the OP did not enjoy her stay at CBR. However, that does not mean you won't. Momof2DisneyBoys had a great time at CBR as have others.

Every person is different and every person will have a different experience no matter what resort they stay at.

I'm pretty sure that the OP probably did have a bad experience. Bad experiences happen at all of the resorts. :) Just go with the intention to have a good time no mater what and you will.

The issue that many of us are having is that someone, who most likely never stayed at CBR is using duplicate names to post on this thread.

That's okay. I knew I looked suspicious. :lmao:

Our stay was not horrible at CBR, it just wasn't what we were expecting and I have been warning others about it, I'll admit. I've given my fair warning to others enough now and said enough on that issue, so I'll move along. :thumbsup2

It's perfectly allright for people to post their own experiences, good or bad. What has become such a sore subject for many of us is when ONE PERSON posts multiple positive reviews for his favorite resort and multiple negative reviews for his competition - all under different made-up screen names. I am sorry to have included you as possibly being him - definitely not someone you want to be associated with! :goodvibes

ok - This is off the fake poster subject----we are staying at CBR in June. This will be our first stay at a moderate resort. We have always gone deluxe, but our last trip in Sept. was just too cramped with the new baby. We are now a family of 6; so we have opted for two rooms at CBR. My question is: Can you go from deluxe to moderat and be happy? I really am trying to keep an open mind and not too high of expectations (so as not to be disappointed). Also I promise I am not a snob - just use to deluxe. Anyone who can share their similar experiences of going from deluxe to moderate (hopefully successful will be greatly appreciated) If its negative let me know too - I can take it! hee hee Thank you!!

You should talk to DISer Kaysmommie - she is used to the Poly and loved her stay at CBR! :goodvibes

We have stayed at the Poly numerous times--the most recent was 2004 for our son's high school graduation. We had stayed at the CSR prior to the Poly and have stayed at it every trip since 2004. Truthfully, we prefer the moderate as you don't feel like you are top of people all of the time, the buildings are not on top of one another and it is much more peaceful and serene. We have never stayed at the CBR but it is similar in size to the CSR and I know that people have said it is more peaceful and not as crowded feeling as well. I'm sure you'll be fine. The one thing that might bother you is the outdoor walkways as opposed to the inside corridors.

Ok I am going to post but everyone might not like it.

My husband, boys and I have stayed in value resorts until now. All star music (we loved) we in the very back of the resort and had to walk a long way, but we made do. Stayed in August in All Star Sports and had large group of girls on the floors above us, below us and beside us. They kept us up all night the entire week we were there and we called security and had their chaperones come to our room - we received several we are sorrys and the management tried to make it better - needless to say I called Disney when I got home and we received a refund and learned a very valuable lesson - never stay there again.

February 14th we arrived at CBR and stayed in Jamaca room 4624 and loved it!!!!!!!!! Mousekeeping was excellent, no dirty floor, no dirty sheets, no blood stained comforter, no frogs plenty of coffee and toiletries.

No noise from outside in fact you could have dropped a pin outside our room and you could hear it drop.

Maybe my husband are lucky or maybe some people are too picky and think that their resorts rooms should be the same as their home. They are not. I choose to fight my own battles and if something is wrong I bring it to their attention and try to get it fixed.

WE are going back in September and staying at the same resort and hopefully the same room. I think you make Disney what you want to get out of it.

Good luck to all!!!!

Thanks for all your replies and please keep'em coming. Is Kaysmommie out there?? I'd love to here from you.

I never said that CBR, POFQ, and POR people are "totally innocent". But it is NOWHERE NEAR the scale of what goes on with a certain CSR fan. We're talking dozens of fake screen names. And no one who is such an expert on everything CSR-related can possibly be unaware of this. So many people on the Dis, moderators included, are on to this and are fed up. I'm really interested to know what you think on the subject. And not just the standard "fans of all resorts are guilty" reply. Seriously, you have to know what's going on.

My only question is why does this have to be constantly brought up on the thread over and over again? Why not just take it to the moderator and have them deal with it? I have had numerous private messages about this with the insinuation that perhaps I am one of the ones with multiple names. And I find it very insulting.

I think this subject has reached a boiling point among so many of us because it has gotten completely out of control. On this particular thread, 11 of the screen names are one person! That is just so dishonest. I know that you are NOT a multiple poster and are not one of those 11 names I mentioned. I guess by bringing it up often we just hope the person will stop being so deceptive.

But you don't know for sure. You were wrong one two occassions. Just because someone has posts like you mention doesn't mean anything. I can point you to many DIS'ers like that. Using your logic, even you are a member since 2007 and only have 150 post. Not everyone lives on he boards like many of us. You always pick against CSR, always pick POFQ and talk negatively about my pictures and more. So I guess that means you are a duplicate name.

There was 1 name on this thread which I said was a possible fake name-so I wasn't wrong on two occasions. We have come up with a list of about 40 names which are this one person. If 1 or 2 of those are wrong, that's still 30+ fake names! I DO know that for sure, and like I asked you before, you have to know that, too! That's why I wanted to know what you thought about it. Instead, you just said the same thing again - "But you don't know for sure". For someone who "lives on the boards" - which are your words - you cannot possibly not know what's going on. Just like you said above - that I always pick on CSR, etc. - that shows you are watching EVERYTHING - you can't play dumb about this one thing.
