Had a wonderful trip!
Checkin at CBR was a breeze-friendly CM who got us off to a great start! We went to the parks and when we returned to CBR at 2pm, our room was ready and luggage was there when we opened the door.

Stayed in Martinique building 25 and it was well worth it! I could not imagine staying in Trinidad South or other areas that are quite a walk although when talking with other guests, they didn't seem to mind the walk. We preferred to be so close to OPR, bus stop, and pools.

Room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was so great we actually had to turn it down at times! This was nice for us since I absolutely hate when the air turns off in hotel rooms due to lack of motion in the rooms!
Mousekeeping was wonderful always leaving us extra towels and towel animals. So cute!

OPR was much better than I remembered it from our trip back in 2000. The food was good to great! Really enjoyed the omelettes for breakfast! No matter what time of day it was, we never had to wait very long for food, to pay, or to find a table in the food court. Refills in our mugs were convenient and definitely saved us money on drinks.

The buses were very good. We never waited more than 10 minutes, usually less than 5. The buses were only packed on the nights we left a park at closing, and that was to be expected but we always got lucky and had a seat. Even waiting for the bus to make it around all the villages was not bad. It went by fast and didn't cause us any problems making it to parks or ADRs on time.

If you are staying at CBR for your next trip you will realy love it. The CMs were super friendly and I really can't say any negative about this resort. We really had a great experience at CBR!

Let me know if I can answer any questions!

Welcome back! :sunny: We stayed in Martinique 25 twice and we thought it was an excellent location! I'm glad you had a great stay there!! :cool2: It was our first onsite resort and it still has a special place in my heart.

I am glad to hear you enjoyed CBR. Could you do me a favor and copy and paste your review into the CBR FAQ thread listed below? Thank you.

Glad you had a great visit! We are really looking forward to our next stay at CBR!

Jen, say it isn't so...just kidding.

Welcome back and thanks for sharing!

I love reading about the great CBR experiences. It seems as though the CBR gets a bad rap because of the size of the resort. Glad you had a good trip.

Thanks so much for posting your thoughts! The DH and I are staying at CBR in 36 days, and I'm getting more and more excited about it everyday. At first I was a little nervous about staying there, but my fears are turning to excitement and anticipation!
If you have any pics, I would LOVE to see them!
Thanks again!:thumbsup2

I notice you have stayed twice at CBR and CSR. How would you compare the two? Which is your favourite overall?

we are down to 41 days!! those pictures make me jump up and down with excitment!! its a me and mom trip...free dining!!
we both smoke, so i originally requested aruba 51 (since we will have no kids with us)...but i called back to request aruba 51 closest to a DSA.:rolleyes1

i'm glad you had a great time! thanks for the pics, i didn't think i could get more excited.....but now i am!

now all i have ot do is get on that plane, OMG!! :scared1: :scared1:

Well, this is my very first reply!!! I just joined a few days ago....Thought I would jump into this post as I will be going to be staying at CBR in September. Glad to hear the good reviews....:yay: I am a little concerned about the size of the resort, but I'm sure it will be OK....

I have a question tho...if anyone can help me...I made ressies thru AAA and did not request a certain location. I will be paying the balance in the coming week. Can I request then?? Or should I wait until I get to the resort and take a gamble that I will get a good location??:confused3 Thanks you guys...
This post has gotten me so excited....I just may have to go pack a bag:banana:

You can make your request when you make your payment. You can also ask when you check in. There really isn't a bad location at CBR. Trinidad South is away from the other villages and some like the quiet and it feels like its own separate resort.

CBR is the best!!! OK, it's the only one we've stayed at...but I love it...Going back for my fourth time in November...the countdown begins!

I will be there in 27 days - So excited, I think I will enjoy it more than CSR, it looks great. So many good reviews recently too.

:woohoo: We just realized that we'll be there in 20, count 'em, 20 days!!! We'll be packing soon! This will be our first stay at CBR :woohoo: so I hope we like it as much as we've liked all of the other resorts we've visited. Glad you had a great trip!

I stayed at CBR in June of 2000. My room was in Trinidad South. I have to say it was not all that bad a walk to the food court and main pool area. About 10 mins. maybe.
It is very quiet since you are down at the end of the resort. It has it's own quiet pool so there is ne need to travel to the crowded main pool unless you want to.:)
The bus stop was right outside our building to which was quite convienient.:)
I enjoyed the resort and would stay there again.
I am now trying to see all the different resorts just so I can say "Oh i've stayed there!"
