Just back from CBR. Loved it!

We just returned from CBR on Monday. If anyone recalls, i had written that I got a call from the room assignment manager before our trip. Everything he said was spot on. We asked for rooms that connected (one with the door inside the room), we had rooms 2631 and 2632. They were a corner room, and the one next to it. Right next to a courtyard, and steps away from OPR. I asked about balloons and had told them I had sent some down. Not only did they inflate mine, they added several more and cards for my granddaughters BD, from M&M. Several towel animals were in the room. My package that I had sent down ahead of time was in the room when we arrived. We had access to both rooms, even though the other party did not arrive until 9 p.m. Our groceries and stroller were brought to our room when bell services drove us to our room. So we had everything right away. Our room was always cleaned and neat when we got back from the parks. Had new towel animals everyday. I can not express how pleased we were with the service we got. We have stayed there before and enjoyed it, but this time was really magical. We did book a preferred room this time, and I think it was well worth the extra money. We used the OPR bus stop, because it was closer then the Martinique one. My granddaughter was chosen to dress Duffy the Bear one day at the gift shop. She received a certificate for that. She thought that was pretty cool. Can't wait until the next time.

CBR is my very favorite moderate resort. I'm glad you had a wonderful stay there. I have decided to mix it up a bit for my upcoming trip in June and booked POFQ. I stayed at CBR in December and March and thought it was time to go with a different theme. I know I will miss CBR though!

Thanks for the good report on CBR. The only thing I didn't like about our stay there was the long walk from Trinidad South to OPR. Everything else was great. Seriously thinking of CBR with a preferred room for our 2013 post-cruise stay. Going to decide by August, so that I'll have almost a year to pay it off.

I'm so glad you had such a great experience! I haven't stayed on-site since I was a teenager so I don't recall my experiences that well, and I have my first on-site stay booked since then coming up at CBR in 3 months!! I'm so excited and reading stuff like this makes me even more excited!
