Just back from CBR any ?

Just got back today, 1st time staying at CBR and couldn't have been happier. The room was in bldg 46 Jamacia section. It was clean and comfortable and very quiet. We had a corner king room, the rooms on either side were occupied and we wouldn't not have know if we didn't see them go into their rooms. We requested a refrigerator and we were told it was no charge. The next day we saw refrigerators being delivered to different sections in the resort. The food court was okay, pretty much the same as other ones at WDW. The walk to the food court was nice and relaxing taking no time at all. This was a great time of year to go, thankfully Ivan stayed away. There were pratically no lines at all and the weather was pretty good, one day of rain and one day of pretty uncomfortable heat. The bus system was good at CBR pretty much there when you needed them maybel 1 or 2 times waiting about 10 minutes. Any questions I will try to answer them.

We also have a King room and I requested Jamaica. Hope we get it.

I'm thinking that CBR is sort of like 'Poly Lite'. Is there any favorable comparisons between the two? My wife loves Poly but it's not in the (credit) cards this trip.

Sorry, I can't help never stayed at 'Poly Lite'. But it did have a nice peaceful quite theme. Caribbean music playing in the back ground. Food court was like going to a market place. Colorful buildings, beaches with hammocks. Hope this is of some help.

Where do you hear the music? All over the place? Also, is there any night time entertainment?

The music is played at the food court. Not sure but I think outside by the main pool also. There is an outside bar and at night they get a crowd there hanging out. We were busy at the parks so didn't look into any night entertainment.

Are refrigs free of charge to all deluxes and moderates now? I thought I read that they were available upon request? My family is staying in a standard view in the next few months. What building should they request so they are kindof close to the main hub/food court? Thanks.

The buildings closest to the food court are preferred rooms which are $15 more a night. But I just stayed in the Jamacia section which was close and maybe a 5 minute walk if that. By the time you go the refrigerators should be installed, if not you can request one and they shouldn't charge you. Our room did not have one installed yet and they gave us one at no charge.
