Stayed in CBR for the first time - wanted to share my thoughts.

Check-in on Saturday afternoon @ 4:00. Lines were pretty long - there were a number of CMs working - wait was about 15-20 minutes. CM that checked us in was very nice. Had mentioned it was our 10 year anniversary when I booked and she gave us anniversary pins. Originally placed us in Barbados (I had requested Jamaica). I asked her if there were any rooms in Jamaica, and after going to check with someone, we were able to switch to Jamaica room4230.

Drove over to the parking lot to see the room. My first impression was it was nice. I was very impressed with the grounds - they are gorgeous and very romantic. The room condition was OK - there was a big stain by the front door, and dust bunnies on the ceiling. I thought the room was showing its age a little, but it was fine. It was a nice size, and there was plenty of storage space. The worst part were the BEDS! I can't believe how squeaky they were - I mean if you rolled over they squeaked. Mousekeeping was OK - the first night my kids spilled crackers, and the next day after we got back, the crumbs were still there. On the second day she vacuumed, and I think every day after. We received one towel animal which was cute. We tipped anywhere from $3-$4 per day. Air conditioning worked fine - no problems.

We used the busses a few times to Magic Kingdom. Going was great - we were the first stop. It did fill up quickly and every time there were ultimately people standing. On the way home, it was always packed, and Jamaica was one of the last stops - the first being Martinique I think and then making the loop around the resort. The wait times were fine, but the busses were definitely busy.

It is absolutely a big resort. The walk to the bus stop from where we were was fine, but if you were at some of the other Jamaica buildings, I think it would've been pretty long. The walk to the food court was beautiful - we didn't mind the walk, but I can see how some may object to the time it took.

Food court was OK - nothing great. I didn't think there was that great a selection, and there didn't seem to be enough seating. Saturday morning we ate in the Shutter's area which was fine.

Used the laundry facilities once on a Tuesday night around 10, and had no problem getting machines. It always bugs me though how I have to dry my clothes twice :) We only swam in the quiet pool, which only ever had a couple families in it. Honestly, although the big pool looked fun - I didn't feel like taking the walk over the bridge.

Check out was about 15 minutes - in the future, we'll do express.

So overall, I liked the resort. I'd stay there again, but I'd probably try another resort first.

Oh, and I forgot, it's very quiet. You could tell how busy the resort was by all the closed blinds at night, but you never heard a peep, or barely saw anyone walking around.

Happy to answer any questions. :)
