Just back from BWV!

Just got back from a very HOT trip to Disney. My review: We had a studio room which was big enough for me, DH, DD4 & DS1. Loved having the studio kitchen really saved money on being able to make our own breakfast and lunch and being able to store our own water and juice in the fridge. We saved a ton in water alone! We got room 3065 which was about 15 steps to the elevator and had a side view of the boardwalk our room was located above Wyland Galleries. The balconey was on the small side. Family members of ours were 2 doors down in room 3061 same size room but had a HUGE balconey. We could see some of the fireworks from Illuminations on our balconey. The decor was pretty but the couch needed to be recovered very stained with tears in the cushions. Even though we did not have a direct view of the boardwalk I still found it was VERY noisey at night even at 2:00am there was alot of loud drunk people out. Hallways where very noisey as well. None of the boardwalk vendors opened untill 5:00pm and closed at 10:00pm which surprised me at such a crowded time of the year. We ate at Spoodled which was very good and I highly recommend the Baklava! Also I recommend a White chocolate crepe on a stick YUMMY!!!!!!! The big show at 9:30pm was very entertaining my DD loved it. I liked the option of walking to epcot or MGM. The walk is way faster than the boat. I also thought my room location was great. Being 6 months pregnant and having 2 children in a stroller was nice having the elevator right outside our room. The pool was very nice but VERY crowded all the time. We usually spent our time at the quiet pool there was almost nobody ever there we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. The community hall is there and they sell popcorn for a dollar which was a bargain. The community hall had a nice over hang that was shaded in the afternoon so when my DS slepted in the stroller I would park him under that and he would be out of the sun. Overall the BWV's are in a great location and is very pretty but I miss having a food court and I thought it was a bit noisey late night. I am glad I had the chance to stay there.

I am glad you had a good time at the BWV. It is our favorite resort. Just an FYI about the Boardwalk only having hours from 5pm-10pm. It is mostly about what you had indicated...the noise factor. Imagine how much noisier it could be with more people on the Boardwalk later.....
