Just back from BWV!

We stayed for the 1st time at BWV last week, we stayed in a studio overlooking the boardwalk/gardens, the room was great, spacious and clean, the boardwalk itself was amazing, being from Jersey I felt right at home, the only thing I wasnt so jazzed with was the pool, after checking out a few other resorts and their pools, I waasnt all that crazy about it, but the stay in itself was very pleasant, and I would stay there again, or at the beach club, the boardwalk sealed the deal for me it was nice to come back to the hotel at night and there be some kind of nightlife, and jelly rolls was a blast!

Can't imagine what you didn't like about the pool...Compared to lots of the disney pools I think it is one of the best.

Well its not that I didnt like the pool, I just liked some of the others I saw much better, they had a better ambiance, like the beach & yacht, and poly, I liked their pools better, but hey I didnt go to Disney for the pool! The hotel was in my opinion the most fun of all the resorts we saw!

Isn't The Boardwalk an amazing place? We just love it. We stayed at BWV for the first time last halloween and fell in love. So much so that we bought into the DVC. So glad you had a great trip.

The Boardwalk is an amazing place, I didnt think the clown was creepy when I was there...but now that you mention it he was pretty creepy! Lucky I would love to be able to visit the boardwalk over and over, that DVC is really a great deal, we have 2 weeks of timesharing in Aruba and it is really great.

Thinking about booking BWV Studio for the first time. Are all the studios located in the same area or spread out? What would be your favorite area to request and why? Do the Studios have a washer dryer? Also, is the pool slide for adults or just the little ones? Thanks

Oh, it's so creepy. It's like you're being regurgitated Now don't get me wrong, I go on the slide all the time, but waking up and seeing that first thing in the morning Ughhh!

And... Oh yeah I LOVE Jellyrolls

The studios are spread out with 3 different reservation choices.

Standard - view of parking lot but great fireworks view from high up and close to bus stop

Preferred - quiet pool (great quiet area), canal view (quiet also), my favorite is village green,but it's loud at night when the bars get out, but it's fun to yell down at everyone - not a good choice with kids though I'd think

Boardwalk - you're on the boardwalk, view of fireworks, sometimes loud

Washer/dryers in 1 and 2 bedrooms only (laundry room on 1st floor)

I go on the pool slide, so it's for everyone

I have never stayed anywhere off the monorail either and it was a very cool experience staying by EPCOT it takes like 5 min to walk there and like a 5 min boat ride to MGM, and of course there is the boardwalk! Its a great location and a great place to stay, now if they can only figure out how to conect everything to the monorail...

Washer/dryers in 1 and 2 bedrooms only (laundry room on 1st floor)

And don't forget - even tho those machines on the 1st floor have coin slots - they are FREE!!! DON'T put your money in them!!!

I am so excited!!
We have a preferred view studio and we requested pool or garden view??

I remember sailing past the BWV on my way to MGM from S/D one morning and thinking I could never afford to stay there!!!! Now I am and I can't wait!!!!

We are renting points from a wonderful person that I met on these boards. We actually get too meet each other the day we get down there. They leave the day after we arrive.

Glad to know I can do a load of wash if needed.

I am also looking forward to the "creepy clown Pool" and walking on the Boardwalk and eating Ice cream......
