O.K. I just returned from my first BWV stay. I was lucky to snag a one bedroom with Boardwalk View at the 7 month window (all my points are at VWL). Well, it was just the most awesomest (I know not a word, but the best word I can come up with up) vacation ever!! The BW view is the best, and we loved it so much, we're getting an add-on at BW. We're thinking 150 points, so we'd get 5 nights in the one bedroom guaranteed Boardwalk view! Now, for the advice part. What had been making it through ROFR lately for BW? I would really like a contract with banked and current points available. Unforunately one at Timeshare Store with a March use year is listed as sale pending, that one would be perfect. We always vacation in the summer, so I need a use year with June or earlier. I plan on calling the resalers on Monday with my requests, but would like to be as armed as possible with information, since all my previous purchases, initial and two add-ons were directly through Disney. I'd appreciate any advice you can give, to this new BWV's convert and soon to be owner!!

You may want to also contact your DVC guide, they sometimes have points from ROFR contracts to sell to existing members. They will only sell you your existing use year. Good Luck! Glad you had a great time!

Lori, I paid $70.00 per point for a 160 point contract this past March. It had a full year of banked points. We paid maintenance for this year only and all closing costs. Good luck!

They will sell you another use year for 150pts or over. That's what my guide did:teeth:

Welcome back! Glad you enjoyed BWV! May I ask where your room was located? And, how did you like it's particular view/location? We stayed BW view earlier this month. Thanks! ;)

Welcome back ...glad you enjoyed the BWV...that is my home resort, favorite resort, only DVC I've ever stayed resort....Good Luck on the resale...

Awesomest would be the word I would use to describe BWV! Glad you liked it.

I can't comment on the bid price, but I will say - get the same Use Year as your current contract. People report headaches with having different Use Years.

Awsomest is the way we descibe our bwv vacations as well. I own 600 pts there and just put in for another contract of 150 pts for 70 per point + closing costs with 89pts available in 2005. I will not be paying maintenance on any used points so it was perfect for me as my vacations for 2004 are already booked.
