We too were at WDW from June 1-8. It was very busy at MK, but the rest of the parks were not that bad. Spectro parade was crowded as it was only running on 2 nights during that time. Thanks to everyone who told us about refillable mugs, ponchos from Target at $1.00 apiece, and e-nights! BWI was very nice. Our only regret was that we didn't request a higher floor so that we could see Epcot. We had a very nice, quiet first floor room. It was hot, hot, hot. CM's told me it was above average temps. all week. I'm not used to 95 degrees the first week of June here in Ohio! Any questions?

Any renovations of any kind? We were there last November and the front was boarded up and they were working on 2 floors of rooms......Now that the YC is gong to be under renovations thru November, we might go back to the BWI instead....thanks

They were working on the villas (outside) The view out of the windows there looked to be pretty bad. All you could see was scaffolding and plastic. The villas that had a water view looked to be ok. The Inn side was just fine. They were painting around the lounge side of the lobby. Other than that everything was great. I really liked this resort. My dd (24) still prefers the Poly. I think that is because it was the first resort that she stayed in at WDW!

hi, glad you had a great trip!!!

the rooms at the BWV that have the scaffolding outside are not being occupied! they close off each section as they work on it! :)

Laura :)

What were the hours of the locations that you can refill the mugs at ? Did you walk to MGM and how was the walk in the heat ?

Cindym, was the scaffolding in the pool area? We will be in a studio at the BWV this weekend. Just curious as to where they are working now. We had a choice between the Inn and Villas and we chose the Villa so we'd get the fridge! :)

Thanks! :)

I didn't mean that the rooms with the scaffolding were occupied!!!lol! There were several rooms opposite of those rooms with the scaffolding that looked like they were occupied. They would be looking out at the mess across from them it seemed. I can't remember if they were the ones facing the pool or the convention hall. We did the walk one morning to MGM. It took us about 20 mins. because I stopped to take pics of several things. It is an easy walk but the boats are timely also. We only refilled mugs at the boardwalk bakery. I think the hours are 6 or 7am to midnight.

We were in the villas from June 1- June 8. The scaffolding is on the pool side of the villas facing Luna Park but not all of the buildings are scaffolded, just some. We had a standard view villa so we faced the parking lot/entry driveway side but we could actually see some Epcot fireworks over the other buildings at night. Of course, they were only the really high fireworks, but it was neat.
