Stayed at Dolphin 12/25/04 with SPG points-nice room but very far walk.Had breakfast at Fresh around 11:30am-very good, but crowded and a little unorganized. Checked into BCV at 1pm ot "Welcome home" from security and front desk all week. Our 1BD was ready! so we had room 474 very long walk from lobby, but close to quiet BCV pool and self-park so we loved it. Villa was immaculate and everything in order. It was very cold that day (40s-high 30's)we unpacked and then decided to take bus to MK. It was relatively manageable for day after christmas so we toured Mickey's Philhar,POC, Space M(FP), Buzz(FP) (HM was down and it was way to cold for Splash)all before dinner at CRT(Cindy came out while we were waiting downstairs and stayed quite a while..even took a picture with DS(14) in front of tree). Dinner was fantastic as was service. We missed wishes as we were eating. Saw Twas Night before Mickey's Christmas in Tomorrowland and show at forecourt of castle, but that ended midshow with an apologetic announcement. Strolled and shopped Main street with all the snow falling and caught some of Spectro(we have seen it many times). Headed to bus from BCV.
Monday-MGM-toured most of the day(Indy, Star Tours, WWTBMPI(DH wAS 2ND FROM HS), Drew Carey, GMR,watched parade-ate at Pizza Planet with Q&C vouchers. Left for dinner at BOMA and exloring AKL. Food was great.
Tuesday- AKL FP for Killiman, ITTBAB, Dinosaur, Bird show in Asia, too cold for Kali for us-left to have lunch at Pepper market in CSR-very good food and alot of it with Q&C vouchers. Liked the variety, I had mexican and DH had chinese.(DS went to arcade and was not hungry). DH and DS went to play mini-gold at Fantasia and I relaxed. Made dinner in villa and watched bowl games!
Wed-Epcot all day and CP at 5pm with dinner at Teppanyaki at 7pm. Levar Burton was great as narrator. DS was only one who wanted to do Mission Space and had fp to return 4:20-5:20 and when he went back they told him he had to wait 2 hours even with FP! Don't know what happened, very confusing. Walked back to resort and went to MGM to see Osbourne lights only-very nice.
Thursday-no parks DTD, disneyquest and AMC theatre to see Lemony Snicket and dinner at Kona Cafe-great as usual. Watched Epcot fireworks from the beach-wow!
Friday- checked out and used $160 disney visa rewards points to clear some of charges for the week!
Great trip- we went easy and saw what we wanted and did not go crazy-we did WDW about 2x/year so we are easy going even with the crowds.
Stopped at HHI resort for NYE then back to Boston!
