Hey there everyone! :wave2:

Just back to the frozen tundra of NH from a lovely 6 days at the BCV! Lots of construction still going on at the BC but I didn't think it was bothersome at all! :thumbsup2

This was our first stay at BCV and i must say we LOVED it! :goodvibes I think it may be our new "go to" resort.

If anyone has any questions I would be happy to try and answer them for you.

p.s. Anyone know where I can get that lovely scent of the BC lobby??? :thumbsup2

I have a trip planned for Sept. Did you stay in a standard room? I'm wondering when they think they will have all standard rooms completed from the rennovation.

How was Marketplace? We may need to eat a few meals here to save on money. Did you have breakfast there?

Any tips for my stay?

I was glad to read your post! We stayed at BCV for a NYE stay, and agree it was a wonderful resort!

Yay-another BCV fan! I was there from 1/18-1/22 and I agree-beautiful resort. What view did you have? I was in a lock-off studio overlooking the canal. I could sit on my balcony and watch the turtles swim up and beg for food whenever anyone walked across the wooden walkway to the self-parking. I agree-I love the scent. I also loved the backround music.

Yes, we were in a standard view studio. Market place was decent. We usually grabbed coffee there and had a few sandwiches for lunch. We didn't have breakfast there. We usually ate breakfast at Boardwalk bakery, but that's because we met my DSis and she was staying at Boardwalk.

It was simply lovely!!

Here they are discussing the scent. Its not cheap like something you can pick up at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Looks like you left right before we arrived! We had a view of the woods towards Epcot. We were on the third floor so at night we could see some of the illuminations fireworks. So quiet and peaceful :goodvibes

That's wonderful that you had such a great stay there.

BCV is my family's favorite resort. We've got 9 nights booked there this June (it will be our 8th stay there).

We enjoy seeing the turtles too. During our stay in July 2012 there was also an alligator there that we watched every day. :goodvibes My kids even named him (can't recall the name).

Didn't hear much about NH in the news. Did Juno leave you lots of snow? How was the trip home?

Ugh yes. we were stuck an extra day down there. Not a bad thing but stressful!! We got two and a half feet here. Believe me I wis we were still in Florida.

I didn't know they had standard rooms at BCV. Or do you mean just not pool view? Aren't all studios there same pts?

What room did you stay in? Leaving 2/27 for 5 nights, hoping for a pleasant view as you described. Is there a room map available. Thanks for any help!!

NOT FUN coming back to the frigid, snowy weather, SAD!:sad1: Sounds like you had a GREAT TIME!:goodvibes
Your studio location sounded very nice, QUIET! I have read some other posts saying that they could hear the noise from the road, which would probably keep a light sleeper awake...Thinking about BCV as part of a split stay this December and hoping that the renovation will be complete!
