here are some observations I made during last weeks stay at BCV
The Bad
1) The motion sensitive AC control makes for a nice warm room when you return from the parks...it also makes it quite warm during the evening hours.
2) Illuminations could actually pass as a bomb going off....espescially on the side that faces the swan and the dolphin, you get all of the noise and none of the show.
3) I dont know if any one else had this experience, but when you sit in the living room chair (not the couch) it takes about 20 seconds for the air to drain out of it so you can actually get comfortable....but when you stand up all the air rushes back in so you have to repeat the process any time you sit down
The Good
1) Man is this place gorgeous....the pool was wonderful, and truly quiet. The location is second to none.
2) The view from the fifth floor studio we had for one night room 559 was outstanding....spaceship earth was right in front of us, and illuminations was clearly visible.....only drawback to this room is the incessant noise from passing cars below at night.
3) If you want to know where the best views are, simply drive by on the road leading into BCV and look up at the fifth floor rooms facing out to the road....that is where you want to be.
4) Storm along bay is exceptional....this pool is simply the best, it has the best atmosphere in my opinion, and the waterslide is a definite thrill...this all of course is dependent on the size of the crowd....everyone was being checked on the way in, and everyone was given a wrist band, we where able to get a table with an umbrella both days we where at the pool.
5) Valet parking is great, but let me tell you if you park your car in the rgular lot there is an entrance not 20 yards away into the BCV, and an elevator right there....if you where to check in, leave your bags in the car and then go park, you would have little trouble lugging them to your room.
6) We had a two bedroom for six nights on the fifth floor facing the swan and the dolphin....is it just me or is there any one else who thinks this is one of the best views around...for some reason the swan and the dolphin are the things that I first envision in my mind when thinking about disney on a winter day...strange i know.
And Last but surely not least.....MAN IS IT HOT IN AUGUST!!!!!!!...I AM OFFICIALLY RETIRING FROM PLAYING GOLF IN FLORIDA IN AUGUST...IT IS THE EQUIVELANT OF PAYING TO GET HEAT STROKE!!!!

Oh and one more thing, the hoopdy do review is really cool. every year i think I will get bored with it, but i never do....must be the fact that beer is included in the price
once again another fabulous trip....looking forward to next august...tick....tick....tick....time moves so slow!!!
