Just back from BCV... I get it now!!!

Wow, we just got back from a great stay at BCV and I am in !!!!

Hubby and I have been talking about adding on a 2nd contract but we weren't sure where. So we visited all the DVC resorts last week. I am so glad we agreed that nothing compares to SAB and walking to the International Gateway. And the smell... I had read about it on the boards but now I know what you all mean!

Now I just need to find a 160 point contract with a February use year. Wish me luck!

We also BCV owners, bought as add ons direct...25 -40 points at a time, but we're up to 180 points there now. We just HAD to own there!

I am not a DVC owner (yet ), but we just got back from BCV and I too get it! We stayed at BLT in Sept and I thought BCV wouldn't compare, but we just fell in love with BCV! I so want to buy there... My kids just loved the Ariel statue and I can't imagine staying anywhere else now!

I fell in Love with the Beach Club when I 1st stayed there in 1993. I was intrigued by DVC but held out till BCV was available. We have since added on at BLT and SSR, but BCV is our favorite!

Oh, lucky you! You are going to LOVE IT! FYI if noise bothers you ask to be away from the quiet pool. We found that people tend to wander over to the quiet pool at 10pm when SAB closes for the evening. The noise factor wasn't overwhelming but you could occasionally hear shrieking children... and I have kids myself so I tend to be a bit tolerant but it was noticeable.

I bought a small BCV contract direct from Disney last year, thinking that if I bank and borrow, I'll be able to travel there every 3rd year. I just closed on a small BCV resale, so I can now travel there ever other year! I have not yet stepped foot on the grounds, but I trust the opinions of all of my fellow DISers! We will be there for the first time next April.

It is fantastic! The smell in the lobby and throughout is intoxicating!

Glad to hear you had a great trip and I agree BC is fantastic. I think once you stay there with the pool and the location it is hard to want to stay anywhere else. Hoping you find your add on contract soon.

We love BCV. Its our favorite. Do you buy direct from DVC or from re-sale outlets?

We bought an add-on at BCV after our first stay there, too. Maybe they put something in the water.
