Spent 14 wonderful nights at BCV 1 bdroom. Room was perfect, absolutely nothing amiss. Top floor Epcot view. Heard no noise with windows shut. Could see Epcot fireworks from balcony as well as the top of the magic kingdom ones. Had herd of elephants in room next door to us but they only stayed Columbus weekend. Attended MNSSHP and loved the characters all dressed up. The food and wine festival was good as always and saw Beach Boys perform one night.
Any questions?

Wow, 14 nights that's great, glad you had a good time.
I love the BC. Hubby and I taking a detour to WDW on Saturday, Oct 23 to the 26th, can't wait to get back there.
staying at WL.

How was your weather. Did you notice more crowds this year due to hurricanes pushing back peoples vacas?

My son is in Jacksonville, he said it was only in the high 40's yesterday morning. Said he froze, this from a ski bum.

Weather was HOT at the start of the vacation around 90s it started cooling towards the end with rain off and on for a couple of days. The parks werent crowded at all except for Columbus weekend. Mission space was a 5 mins wait and Splash was a 10 min wait at one point.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing!!! Glad you had a great time!!

Did you hear the smoke alarms going off every evening? We were in room 210 from the 8th-13th and the darn thing woke us up in our room one morning and I heard other room's alarms going off the rest of the weekend.

It wasn't a very nice wake up call!

Glad to hear you had a nice trip.::yes::

I have stayed at Beach Club Villas twice, July 2002 & August 2004, and both trips there were wonderful. ::MickeyMo

And yet another positive BCV report! Love 'em!

Glad you had a great time.

Sounds like you had a great room! We will be staying there in about 6 1/2 weeks!!

It's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. 13 nights in October, the Magic Kingdom closes at 6 PM and you have to buy a special pass for evening admission (about $30/person). The park is re-dressed in Halloween themes, the characters are out in costume, the music tracks are spooky, there are trick-or-treat stations everywhere, and both the parade and the fireworks show are modified to suit the theme. Attendance is lighter than on normal nights so most rides become walk-ons, and there's a general spirit of community that's a lot of fun.

They tested the fire alarms one afternoon but other than that I didnt hear them at all.
