Just back from BC and it was great...I'm not sure what kind of beds they have there but they were sooo comfortable. Location was great. I wasn't thrilled w/ the dining and lounge obtions but it was very close to YC, BW and Epcot so it wasn't a big deal. The lounge at YC seemed to be open much more often then the one at BC for some reason. There really wasn't a food court and I think the mugs are a rip since you really can't go fill them anywhere but Beaches and Cream....and our room was very far away from there so we didn't bother. Pool was nice but very crowded. Bus service was great, never a problem. Sam w/ the boat to MGM. Very happy with the resort and will definately stay there again! Any questions please feel free to ask.

Welcome back!!
I agree I wish there was a "food court" at this resort. My Idea would be to close the arcade and add a food court!!!! make it part of Beaches and cream!!
We love this hotel and cant wait to go soon!!!!

We're going to the BC next April for our first trip to DW. Did you stay in a standard room? Would you recommend being close to the pool or lobby (we have 3 kids).

Isn't there a place at BC in the morning to get milk and cereal to take back to your room?

Would you stay at YC next time or were they pretty much the same?

Any info would be appreciated!! Thanks!

We were in a standard view room. We arrived at the resort around 11am and they had a room ready for us but after we got into the room it had a horrible view of a flat stone rooof and a standing room only balcony. I called down and said on my reservation I had requested a full balcony...so we went back down and were told our room wouldn't be ready till about 1. We checked in again around 2 and had a great view of the BC pool and a partially obstructed view of the BW and lake...it really was a great view. I really don't think I would want t view of Stormalong,....it would be too noisy for us. The walk from the lobby & BEaches and Cream was really long. I did see folks walking in the morning w/ muffins, coffee, ceral and such but I can't say I ever figured out where they got it! I'm assuming B&C but again that was too far and we usually just grabbed something from the parks. The store had a limited amout of food there...more than the usual resort store...I'm assuming that is b/c there is not real food court. Now as far as location if you are going to being taken the shuttle to MGM or bus to MK a lot I would suggest being a bit closer to the lobby w/ 3 kids.

Hi, there is a little take out place next to the restaurant that is open in the morning for breakfast but I found it to be expensive. Cheaper to go off site and buy stuff to store in your room for breakfast - would save time and money.

there is a place to get breakfast in the morning....I can't remember the name, but it is in the packet they give you at check-in. It is very expensive though, we got 2 croissants, a bagel, a cinammon roll, 2 apple juices and an orange juice and it was like 17 dollars. Also, you can refill the mugs at Hurricane Hannahs by the pool.

Thanks for the info! I'll have to specify on our ressies that we want a FULL balcony because I think they just say "balcony" right now.

Both the YC and BC have the lounge areas where there is a quick breakfast, muffins and stuff.

You can also refill your mugs there. I saw many people refilling their mugs.

They are called
Riptide Lounge at BC
Ale and Compass Lounge at YC

Both are right off the lobby
