I returned last night from a great trip, just my son and I, we stayed for the first time at ASMo and though it is a nice resort, I don't think we'll stay there again.
If you all remember last week the problem I had with reservations in which they had the incorrect check in date and no AP rate but I had the printed confirmation, Also someone from guest relations returned my call and said everything was corrected and I should not have a problem at check-in.

Well, I arrived to check-in around 8pm and NO reservation on file!
I stood at the check-in desk with a CM for an hour until everything was cleared up, the CM even gave me an invoice stating the AP rate I was going to be charged on my credit card...Off to my room and "thought" everything would be ok. I decided not to get express check out.
We were given building 5, Fantasia, yes, it is preferred, which we paid for but we were sent to the very last room on the 3rd floor overlooking partial "Herbie", but it was quiet, I thought it was ok.
The resort is kept very clean. We loved the icons, the best ones are Toy Story. Mousekeeping cleaned our room daily, left my son's stuffed Mickey hanging from the window curtain, But what I did notice is that you don't get the same amenities as the deluxe resorts, meaning the little shampos, etc. We were given one bottle of shampoo for the 4 nights, used it the first night, left it opened in the bathroom and it stayed there the entire time! No more shampoo! Thank God we bought our own, regardless there are no complains with Mousekeeping, they kept our room clean.
The food court is good but during busy times it would be packed especially in the morning. I was able to use my DDE card and get the 20% off our meal, wasn't much for the 2 of us but it does help.
All in all the resort is nice, just to far from everything and it does share buses with the other ALL Stars, though for this trip it didn't
Buses did run on time.
And now check out time, thinking everything would be fixed, it wasn't.
I encountered the same exact problem I had the day before our arrival and during check-in. They did not want to honor the AP rate I had gotten when I did my reservation. Even the CM at guest relations whom I spoke to the day before we were to arrive denied ever receiving my fax and ever calling me, well when I showed the check-out CM my fax confirmation and my print outs, a manager was called out and I was given one night free of charge and an extra $25 "inconvenience" discount. This after waiting an hour and a half at the check-out counter, again waitinf for the mistake to be cleared.
The CM even gave me a small card to contact guest relations, "if" I wanted to file a complaint regarding the guest relations CM and central reserations. Since it was their mistake. But honestly, I am not. I figured, everyone makes mistakes but why deny it, especially when you have the proof in your hands.
Anyways, I wanted to share some pics of the resort I took, as soon as I load them up I will post them.
