Just back from AKV Kidani/BLT split stay trip report

Wow. I've never seen Mickey w/ his eyes closed. I'm sure others have but that's a first for me. Thanks for sharing! I'm trying to get DH to do a similar split stay. He isn't budging right now.

Prior to this trip, I didn't know they closed their eyes either. Wasn't until I saw the photos that I realized Mickey's eyes were closed. In some other pictures you can see Minnie, Goofy, and Chip with their eyes closed. Guess it's difficult to get that many characters on stage together and take a picture where all their eyes are open.

Good luck convincing your DH on the split stay.

We will likely do split stays in the future. We found it a nice way to cut down on the travel time to the parks.

We used to be habitual split stayers. It's a great way to try new places too. But with the addition of kids, he's less and less inclined to pack up mid trip. I'll get my way...sooner or later. I'm not going to push it...yet, becuase I got my way just getting DVC. I don't want to be greedy... At least not for another year or two.
