Just back from AKL deal- WOW!!!

We just returned from 1 night at AKL and 5 at BCV. It was our first time at both resorts. While BCV was beautiful, AKL has won us over. The resort is amazing! I booked a standard room through WDW and questioned the CM when making the reservation if any discounts were applicable and she gave me a rate of 124.00 (including taxes)! Upon arrival, I asked for a complimentary upgrade and was given a 2nd floor savannah view room that was directly above where the pelican's made their "home" . The theming of this resort is awesome and we can't wait to go back. We will definately make our stay there longer next time. I'll keep my fingers crossed that we'll get another great deal again!

Besides our BWV...AKL is our favorite resort to stay in....

I love the AKL, too! And Boma and Jiko . . .

We are staying at the Swan in Feb - it will be interesting to compare the two.
