We were at the WL last week as well! It was our first trip and staying on Disney property made it great.
We got there around 11 am and our room wasn't ready but they held our bags and told us where we could change and we had lunch at RF and used the pool. Around 2:30 our room was ready and our luggage had arrived from the airport. We were at the Magic Kingdom by 4 !!!
We loved the convienence of the boat transportation and we were usually the first stop back on the bus routes.
We had a bunk bed room with a woods view... or what used to be woods view. We were facing the new Villas. The bunk beds were well worth the extra money, it was nice for my girls

(8 and 5) to have their own beds

since we were there 7 nights.
The Concierge staff was excellent. It seemed that we had a new question for them every day but they were always friendly and helpful. They are experts on the dining plan... which I HIGHLY recommend.
The food was good at RF, we didn't eat at WC or AP. It did get a bit loud at night in the lobby from WC but we were so tired from the parks that we went straight up to bed!
The only real negatives we had were that the place was absolutley freezing!

We kept our AC almost off at night and used the ceiling fan, which was great.
Also, the renovations are beautiful but in the bathroom area the sinks are far back on the counter and my 5 year old was not able to wash her hands by herself or rinse after brushing her teeth without being lifted up. I called the front desk and they did not have any step stools. I would recommend if you can fit it in your luggage, one of those fold-flat step stools.
All-in-all, I would go back in a heartbeat, we loved it.

I'm so sad it's over!!!
