Just returned from a wonderful vacation at the renovated BLT...2 - Bedroom. Unfortunately, our room was overlooking the empty pool and the resort, and the parks had suffered significant damage to its foliage because of the cold freeze the week before.
We loved the room updates...2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were wonderful to have even though it was just 4 of us! You just can't beat the proximity to the Magic Kingdom when you are staying there.
Only transportation issue was during the Princess Marathon...no buses to Animal Kingdom and we had to take the monorail to the TTC and transfer onto a bus...Whole process took almost 1 1/2 hours...
Highlights include the new Starlight Parade at MK....first time seeing that. Great character interactions at Chef Mickeys, Grand Floridian 1900's Park Fare and Crystal Palace...this trip was all about my 4-year-old granddaughter. Great meal at Narcoosee's...one of our favorites, Flame Tree Barbecue, Regal Eagle Smokehouse, and Tony's Town Square (Haven't been here in years, and though not fine dining, it was good!)
Been going almost every year since 2012...and was really disappointed with LL...in the past I was able to book other top tier rides after we scanned into our first easily. This year the return times were very late in the night. Still debating whether it was a good use of extra dollars.
Also did Bibbitity Bobbity Boo Boutique with my granddauther for the first time...definitely a one and done. Very crowded and the chairs where they do hair and manicures are one on top of the other. Be prepared for a long wait once your child picks out and puts her dress on. It was pretty chaotic and not worth the $$$ in my opinion.
