Hoping to get a trip report done but in short:
Had a fantastic 3 nghts at DLP. The DLH is amazing, I loved it. I have stayed in several Disney hotels at WDW plus the Sequoia Lodge at DLP but none of them had the lovely Disney details in the room that there is at the DLH plus the location was wow! It even has it's own special smell. We all loved it there.
The weather was great, Fri was sunny and not too cold, Sat was damp in the morning and snowy in the afternoon.
The parks were wonderful, I loved all the detail in Disneyland park it was so beautiful, especially the castle. I guess I didn't think it would be that different from the Magic Kingdom at WDW but it is so much more picturesque. Really enjoyed all the rides especially those that are different like Casey Jnr and Pinocchio though disappointed tht the little boat ride wasn't open.
Enjoyed meals at Walts and Inventions though maybe didn't live up to expectations possibly as so expensive that had unrealistic expectations.
Overall a wonderful weekend and it was great to spend my 40th birthday somewhere so magical with my family. We were really sad to come home, 3 days was just not long enough!!!
