Group of 6 adults - stayed in a BLT two bedroom. We had a theme park view, but were on the 5th floor, so we didn't think the view was that great. Other than that, the room was great. It was DH and I, our two daughters (20 somethings), the oldest's fiance and my mom. I use an ECV so it was nice to have convenient access to two of the parks.

We used our DVC discount for several meals. We made our first visit to O'hana (really enjoyable!) and a first visit to The Boathouse. Those two were probably the best meals of the trip. We always love Artist Point, Hollywood Brown Derby and pizza at Via Napoli. Yum. It was kind of a bummer to come home and have to figure out dinner tonight.

Crowds were very heavy all week. MK was either really disorganized or had a huge crowd on 3/15 - worse than visits we've made at July 4th, Christmas and NYE in the past. Yesterday was enjoyably light at the Studios - the CM even let our group ride TSMM twice without getting off. I still can't beat hubby's score though....so continued visits are going to be required.

We caught the new Rivers of Light show at AK one night and the Beauty and the Beast movie preview at the One Man's Dream auditorium. Everything else we had done before, even though it has been a couple of years since our last visit.

Disney Springs has really changed since the DTD days (or for fellow old-timers, Lake Buena Vista Village). For better or worse, the crowds seemed to really be enjoying everything. Full parking garages and busy restaurants everywhere.

We made it up to the lounge one night, but the temps were too cold to want to repeat. We enjoy being able to hop on the monorail, but I missed SSR. I love our home resort the best - I like the spaciousness and the peaceful vibe.

Let me know if you have questions.

We were there as well last week. I agree the crowds at MK was higher then previous spring breaks. Our last day I had to buy sweaters for us.

Thanks for your review. Feel like I haven't been to WDW in forever so much has changed. I can't wait to go back...won't be till next summer for my DD's sweet 16.
I will try to get BLT because with the girls I like them being able to just walk to park or hop on monorail if they go out without me. Only plus for me there is the walk to MK. BLT is
probably my least fav resort for ambience. I enjoy SSR also and being able to go to any resort at 7mos(so far) makes DVC one of our best purchases.

Glad to hear you had a good trip! How was sleeping in a two bedroom for that amount of people? I'm planning a trip for 7 adults and two 1 yr olds in a 2 bedroom. I figure DH, me, and DS22 will stay in the room with the 2 beds. I'll give one DS, wife and baby the master bedroom and the other DS, wife and baby the main room. Do you think we'll be okay?

Downtown Disney sure felt more like a shopping mall than it used to. We were there over Christmas and enjoyed DTD but not the department stores. Staying at BLT for the first time next month, looking forward to staying on the Contemporary property but will always love our BWV Home.

For us that arrangement wouldn't work. I wouldn't want to be the family with only the living room. Sleeping quarters not ideal, minimal privacy, and with a young one there you will not have anywhere to relax in the evening after the children's bedtimes. It puts the other 2 families in their bedrooms so allow the little one to sleep in the living room.

Thanks for the thoughts! I'm going to try to get a 1 bdrm for DH and myself but, with the amount of pts I have at this time, we will be staying altogether for the first 2 nights and then DH/I will move for the next 5 nights. So, after reading your comment, I'm thinking the two of us will take the main area and let the families have the bedrooms. DS22 will have to stay with the family in the 2-bed room, then he could be the one in the main area in either villa or stay where he is. The family who I was putting in the main area didn't seem to mind but, of course their 6-month old might be a different kind of sleeper in another 6 months :).
