I just got back from what I consider to be my best WDW trip.
12/16/06----12/21/06 (5 nights)
3 nights Poltnesian Resort, 2 nights Contemporary Resort.
After a 12 hour drive we finally arrived at the Poly. We got checked in just fine, and were in Tokulau with a 1st floor Garden view as we had requested. (In all our other Disney we had not gotten what we requested.) When we got to the room we found out even though we had a Garden View room you could see the lagoon with GF in background. Our original plan was to move to Contemporary after 2 nights at poly, but we liked poly so much we changed it so we had an extra night at poly. so now we had 3 nights poly and 2 nights CR.
After the 3rd night at poly it was time to move to Contemporary, we packed everything into the car and drove over to CR. When we got to the front desk we were checking in and the cast member told us we had been upgraded from tower bay lake view to tower 12th floor Atrium Club magic Kingdom view for free!!!!!!! I was like you upgraded us to conciere for free? I was so excited.we loved the free food and the amazing view.
We made it to al 4 parks through the week and had a great time at each of them. (if you want more info about the parks pm me) Towards the end of the week the crowds we getting TERRIBLE!!!! but i had expected them knowing that it was the christmas crowd.
Really i don't have anything bad to say other than the crowds. I loved both resorts and will stay at CR and poly again.
well hopefully we will be back in WDW in may 2007 so its time to start planning!
