Hi everyone!
We just got back from our 10/5 - 10/14 trip to WDW. I have to say it was our most wonderful trip ever! We stayed longer than usual, so we had time to slow down and enjoy the resorts as well as the parks. It was also our first stroller-free trip. WOW!! What freedom we felt not having to lug that thing around!!!

We did our first split stay, between AKL and BCV. We loved both. I'll give a full report of each later on the resorts board.

We also did the dining plan for the BCV portion. We loved it too and will also give dining reviews on the dining boards.

Crowds were very manageable until Friday the 13th. Even through Columbus Day, we didn't have a problem doing and seeing what we wanted, using FP. We went back to the MK on the 13th to finish up what we had not seen or done earlier. Got there at opening & it was pretty crowded! There was even a wait for TTA!! We finished up as quickly as we could & headed back to swim at the resort for the afternoon. There was also a long line (but not too long a wait) at Space Ship Earth on Saturday morning.

We did the AP preview of the new Nemo attraction at Epcot. It is really cute. The neatest part is at the end, when it looks like Nemo & friends are in the tanks with the real fish. Loved that part. And the song at the end is catchy and sweet. My kids loved it, so we did it twice with NO wait! It was great!

I really expected to see the Dream Squad more than we did. On our first day there, the group in the "holding pen" in front of us at Dumbo got dream fastpasses. We saw a large group waiting around at the exit of the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch at AK. Didn't see any personally other than that. I did see a lot of people at different parks wearing the dream fastpasses around their necks, tho. So, needless to say, we did receive any dream rewards. But still, we had many magical moments that just come from being at Disney. The most exciting was at MNSSHP on Tuesday. It was about 11:15 & we were in line for pics with Snow White & all 7 dwarves. We were among the last families and they weren't coming back out for the evening. As we were leaving after the picture, a gentleman approached us & said that Doc and Sleepy would like for DD & DS to ride with them on Snow White's Scary Adventure. My kids were ecstatic!! Oh, who am I kidding?! So was I!!!

Now we're home, and I have a mountain of laundry to do. I'll get reviews up as soon as I can. If you have any questions, ask & I'll do my best to answer. I've gotten so much helpful info here, I'll do what I can to give back!

I would love to hear about your dining! I have to make our reservations by Tuesday for the 180 days ones..We ar planning CRT, Sci-Fi drive in, Either crystal Palace or Chef Mickeys and 50's Diner..did you eat at any of these?

We had lunch at Sci-Fi -- it was my kids' favorite. I followed the advice I had heard here & stuck with the basics. DH & I both had burgers and they were great! I had the spinach/ artichoke dip for an appie & DH had the onion rings. Of course, we shared.. The atmosphere was great! It's definitely on our "go back" list.

We also had breakfast at Crystal Palace. It's always a favorite. The food is always fresh & so good. Our ADR was for 8:05, so we were finishing up just as the park opened.
