Arrived early last Friday morning. 1 person ahead of us at ME counter and then walked directly onto the bus with no wait. Stopped at CBR, BI, then YC. AT YC in a little over an hour. Would have been faster, but 3 families at CBR had to drag all of their luggage with them - took over 20 minutes at CBR to unload everyone and everything. Our luggage arrived in the room in a little over an hour from when we checked in. The system works well and we have never had problems on any of our stays.
Room was ready and we were in the room by 11:15. Had booked a standard view and only request was to be on the lakeside of buildings and not overlooking the front - don't believe in bothering with long lists of specific requests. We faced the little pond and woods looking towards the Dolphin with a side view of the lake and boardwalk.
Room was spotless and was serviced well throughout the stay. We were back at the hotel for a swim between 11 and 12 every day and the room was always already made up. We have never had housekeeping issues anywhere at Disney.
As always, all CMs at YC and parks were wonderful. Can never understand these reports of rude CMs. I am always amazed at how pleasant and patient they remain while listening to rude, ranting idiots. I cannot believe the way some guests speak to them.
Parks a bit crowded Fri and Sat, then light crowds with minimal wait times. Took advantage of EMH every day.
Won 3 dreams this trip!! Dream passes at MK and AK and also YOMD lanyards and pins at AK.
Weather was great - one overcast day with light mist and it did rain Tuesday night at the MVMCP, but we still had a ball at it. Othwise mid 80s and we enjoyed SAB every day. Quiet pool was reported to be closed for refurbishing but was not.
We love the YC/BC resorts the best. Location can't be beat, and we prefer them to the MK resorts.
Bus service was great. Never waited more than 10 minutes to/from parks. YC/BC only to/from MK. Shared with BW/Swan/Dolphin to/from AK. Only long wait was returning from DTD. I always find DTD to be the one place where the system breaks down. Bus stop area is way too small and congested and always long waits.
Ate at Beaches and Cream a couple of days for lunch and also breakfast at YC Galley.
Pick up for return to MCO at 4 for a 7PM flight. Then stopped at BC and BI. Arrived at airport at 5:05.
