Just back from 7 days at POP !

We just got back last night from a 6 night/7 day stay at POP! We had a great time! There was some pro's and cons about our trip but over all it we had a blast.
We did have to wait 5 hours to get our room after we checked in, and after a red eye flight from Oregon sitting around Pop in the heat, it was ruff our first day. We ended up getting our room around 4:15 pm , took a shower and headed off to dinner at Epcot. Only spent a few hours there and went back to Pop for some sleep.
We woke up at 10:00 am the next morning (very tried from being up for about 32 hours) and hit Blizzard beach where we had a fantastic time! Most days we started off at one of the water parks then would go to one of the 4 parks for dinner and rides !
The next 5 days were filled with tons of fun and magic. We did get in 3 horrible rain/thunder storms three nights in a row, but we managed to make the best out of it with our Disney Parks rain ponchos The parks cleared out and we were able to get on most of the rides with little to no wait time!
We took tons a pictures, ate lots of great food, used tons of sunblock and walked blisters on to our feet, but I'm ready to do it all over again!

Yeah at least there was something good to come out of the rain...... it did however manage to help me fall off the bus our last night at magic kingdom and sprang my angle

oh no, are you okay? I was at pop the same week as you 8/21-8/27 and i had a nasty fall down the stairs because of the rain!

Now, tell the truth, you're among friends, was it the liquid falling from the skies or was it the other more pleasureable sort of liquid that caused these trips? You know we wont judge if you both went on a monorail drinkathon....

Well since I don't drink ...... I'm pretty sure it was the liquid from the sky and the slick Crocks I was wearing

Thanks for the update. Our family really enjoyed our stay at POP in 2005, and it's nice to read that people still love staying there.
