Just back from 6 wonderful nights at Coronado Springs!!

We just returned from a wonderful 6 night vacation at Coronado Springs. Stayed in Ranchos 7B which is what we requested. Our room was very close to Bus Stop #4. This resort is awesome. If you have any questions please post and I will answer. I would stay here again any day!!!

jmcross, I have stayed at both. We prefer CBR for the theming. I will be at CSR next weekend for a convention. I also don't like the Pepper Market and the mandatory 10% tip charge.

The main pool at CSR is bigger but at CBR you are close to the food court and the main pool. At CSR you can either be close to the main pool or the food court but not both.

You can't go wrong with either one. If I had my choice I would be staying at CBR for my upcoming trip. We just got back from CBR last weekend.

I have never stayed at Caribbean Beach so I can't compare the two resorts. Sorry

The bus service was great. We waited at the most 10 minutes for a bus. We caught the bus at bus stop 4. The bus service was as follows:

Stop 2 Casitas
Stop 3 Ranchos
Stop 4 Ranchos/ Cabanas
Stop 1 El Centro

The resort is large and you can either walk to all locations or ride the bus to each stop that is closest to where you want to go. We were right by the quiet pool and a short 3 minute walk at the most to the Dig site.

The waterslide there is wonderful!!

We stayed at CSR for three nights earlier this month and will go back! We were in Cabanas 8A. When we walked out of our room, to the left was the pool, to the right was BusStop 4. Our location was sooo convenient, and I will request that again next year. Plus, the walk to the main building was only 5 minutes.

We were located right across from Cabanas 8A. Bus stop on left, pool on right. Great room. The view was just standard, but there were rabbits and ducks out on the lawn all the time!!!

The hotel was moderately busy. I saw a few conventioneers there, but they stayed over in the Casitas section. The buses were never crowded except for one evening, but everyone got on. I saw a lot of families there. I think this may be one of Disney's hidden gems!!!

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We just booked CS today for a one night stay before we move over to OKW for 5 nights. We've never stayed there or at any moderate for that matter, so I'm really excited about giving it a try.


I was really surprised that CS was available at this late date using an AP discount. I thought it was hardly ever included in any discount offers, and since our trip is only 2 weeks away I didn't think there was a chance of getting the AP discount! At $74 plus tax, I'm pretty impressed already!
