We just returned last night at midnight from a 6 day March Break trip to WDW - even for seasoned DVC members, the crowds were overwhelming at times! Holy crowds, Batman!!!

Despite the crowds, we had mostly a good trip - weather was great for touring, but very chilly and downright cold at night. Even for us Canadians, it was chilly - LOL! Loved our TIW card - DH has been very pro DP the past few years, but this trip convinced him of how much he missed it! Kids shared mostly adult meals, but did get kids' meals at a few place, and since baby is only 2.5yrs old, he was free at buffets anyway. We ate at least 2 TS meals per day, and loved having our TIW card!

We had a great check-in at SSR - walked in at 9:30 in the morning to 5 CMs Welcoming us Home and ready to check us in. Our room was ready! The kids got lots of buttons, they had our package ready to go, and then we were off to a very clean and perfectly maintained studio in The Springs. This trip made us realize how much we have missed SSR, and so we are staying there for a split stay in July along with AKV.

All in all, we had a good trip, despite the immense crowds - can't wait to be able to swim in "Donald's pool" (as the kids call it) in July!

For all of you going to SSR soon, I wish you a great trip like we just had. Back to reality tomorrow...

We just got back tonight and I said the same thing to my wife. I was very surprised at the crowds. We stayed at BCV for the first time and had a great trip.:goodvibes

I was there last week and we didn't see terrible crowds at all. What a difference a week makes, huh.

Do you mean this past week or the week prior? We were there March 13-19 and crowds were massive! Lots of people from my province as we were all on March Break, but saw lots of Texas and Alabama cars as well, so they must have been on break as well?

We were there from the 4th-14th and the crowds were great until the 13th. What a difference! We always go for park opening and leave at around 11-11:30 and we were able to walk on to pretty much anything we wanted.. but was I glad to be heading home when I saw those weekend crowds. Went to Spectromagic on the night of the 13th and Main St. was shoulder to shoulder and NO ONE was moving. LOG JAM! Detoured through the shops and got out of there ASAP. ;)

Got it! We arrived during evening on March 13th and even Boardwalk was way crowded! You are lucky you missed the massive crowds as they were something else!

Glad you had a great trip! Tiger :)

We were there from March 6-13. I'm surprised to hear the crowds bulked up so much so quickly! Our school districts in NJ are on spring break either the week before or after Easter, but many of the colleges are out this week.
