This was our 2nd stay at this resort on club level and a pleasant one. However, I think from now on I will save the extra $60 or so a night and put it towards a fun meal. This is why:
Family of 4. Me, DH, son 14, and son 11. In the morning the kids would get a bowl of cereal, me a bagel, and the husband a pastry. A bottle or two of water and one cup of coffee. In the afternoon they serve a main dish, none of us were bowled over by any of the main dishes served during our stay. Code for we tried a small spoon full and it wasn't pleasing. Every afternoon the same tired offering - nachos, cheese, and crackers. ANd fruit which wasn't even fully ripe. (Beer and wine) In the evening they would have 3 different types of desserts and cookies. Out of 4 nights, we had 12 different main desserts - two of which were okay.
The stay was pleasant and the staff accomodating. However, the offering just weren't there food wise. So no more club at US/IOA. I would rather have an extra meal out at Mythos or Margartiville or something.
