Our first day at the parks was Mon the 20th. We spent the day at MK. We had 11 of us and arrived at 9:00am after a 7:15am Chef Mickey Breakfast. The park was full, but not crowded. We were able to ride everything we wanted by getting a fast pass, then riding stand by while the fast pass time come up. What helped a bunch, was when my Sister and Father inlaw took my daughter 5 and nefew 5 to ride the tomoorow land indy cars. the wait was 90 mins. Just as they got in line, a dream maker came over and said he was looking for 2 race car drivers, and took them to the fron of the line. 90 mins saved. We went back to OKW at about 7:00pm and rode evertying we wanted and more.
Tuesday the 21st we went to sea world....We had comp tickets....sea world was....eh sea world.
Wednesday the 22nd, we went to AK late, like 11:30pm. What a waste. The park was SOOOOOOO crowded. Fast Passes were gone for everything but Bugs Life. So we stood in line for the safari for 90 mins, rode that. They were pushing so many people through the ride, we almost never stopped for pictures. Then we saw Bugs Life, finally made it over and saw Lion King. All that took almost 5 hours. We then went to Poly for O'hana, which was good, then to EPCOT. We rode rides instead of watching Illuminations. We were able to do Nemo, test track, spaceship eartch a;; between 7:30 and 9:00pm.
Thanks giving day we went to wide world of sports and watched the old spice classic NCAA basket ball. I was on tv all day. I was the guy on the base line with a camera shooting away. Had a turkey dinner back at the condo.
Friday the 24th, we played golf at lake buena vista. It was very crowded for a 10:04 tee time. We waited on every hole and it took 5:30 hours. Had dinner at Artist Point, and finished the night at Disney West Side.
Saturday, we went to EPCOT in the morning, and MGM at night. Both parks were so crowded you could not do much. We did have a FP for soarin. but MGM was crazy crowded, the osbourne lights were shoulder to shoulder, and a big dissapointment from years past. It was much batter when it was on the back lot.
Sunday, the family went home, and my wife, daughter and i checked into the beach club. we had a charecter breakfast at cape may, then went to EPCOT to see the stuff we missed the day before because of the crowds. EPCOT was now basically empty.
Monday, we had a magic moment. My daughter was asked to search for pirates in the lake arounf boardwalk, YBC and swan and dolphin. We then had a private pontoon boat ride to MGM. Monday night, we went to the christmas party.
Tuesday (yesterday) we got up early and went to the international gateway at rope drop. We were the first ones at soarin, and were selected to be the EPCOT family of the day. We were escorted in and roade soaring by ourselves to start the day off. cent seats, top row. No one else was in the room. We then hit a few more things before magical express took us to the airmport for a 4:00pm flight.
