We are back from the best vacation ever ---
The Magic was wonderful. Thanks to everyone who posted tips here - it helped make everything better and easier.

We used Southern Elegence Limos for transportation -
George was great.

We stayed at the Clarion Airport Hotel in Orlando on Friday,
it was fine - and the Radisson at the Port on Saturday after disemarking - fine too.

Movies playing were Ladder 49, Mr. 3000, Pirates of the Carribean, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Princess Diaries II, Around the World in 60 Days, Finding Nemo and King Arthur.

The shows are wonderful, don't miss them - especially the Adult only shows - Diversions was fun for watching the World Series and Football -

The pools were a little crazy at times - but Quiet Cove was great and not so crowed, especially on port days - take advantage of that!

My two teen sons spent most nights in the Stack and loved the activities.

The Ruins tour in Costa Maya was interesting and enjoyable.
We rented bikes in Key West - which was a fun way to see the sites.

The food was fine - no complaints. Great servers. And brunch at Palo was a real treat.

We loved the free soda - with two teens that was a real treat.

We couldn't think of one complaint - except that we had to go home after 7 days.

:smooth: Thanks for that great post we are on the Magic Nov. 6-13 and can not wait.:earseek:

Glad to hear you had a wonderful time!!

southern elegance is really a great way to start your vacation- george the driver is #1 in my book!!:sunny:

how was your weather?

I also just got back from the 10/23 cruise. At Castaway Cay we had beautiful weather. We were told that was the best weather Castaway Cay has had in 10 weeks. Loved it!!! Soaked up a lot of sun.

I went horseback riding in Costa Maya...so much fun and could run the horses if experienced. Bring Bug Spray. My legs got eaten alive out there and are still trying to heal.

Out of 4 Disney cruises, this was the best one.

Micho and Gede were the best server/assistant server.

Don't miss Pub night in Diversions or the adult cabaret shows, so much fun!!!

If possible get a peek at the Walt Disney Suite, absolutely beautiful. I was fortunate enough to spend some time there.

We just got off as well. Had the best cruise ever this time. Weather was perfect. Micho and Gede were perfect.

Thanks to a fellow DISer we were able to spend a lot of time at the Walt Disney Suite. It was beautiful and so huge. Certainly didn't compare to my SPR!! Thanks Faith for sharing the magic in your suite!

As everyone said before me, don't miss the shows.

Eastern by far is my favorite cruise. Western was good just because we were sailing but we liked the ports much better on the Eastern.

Now looking forward to the Eastern Repo cruise.

Just got back from the 10/23 cruise and it was great. Sorry it had to end. Best weather, good food, great friends and lots of fun.

Have posted some pictures at my website. Will post others as time allows.

Pooh_friend.......is Pierre still the Mgr of diversions? We sailed last year and the show on Friday night WAS the funniest thing I ever saw........How was CC? Still brown or is the green comming back?

Was Que still the Bingo King last week? If not, who was???

Temps were in the mid 80's and CC was something like 78. They told us that we had the best weather at CC compared to the last 10 weeks.

You could tell that CC had been hit by a hurricane but if you don't make a point to look for it, you won't notice. Did have some brown vegitation.

Que was still heading up the bingo - but he kept calling the wrong numbers! One lady won the whole $4500 jackpot.

I'll echo everyone else's "woo-hoo's" to the cruise. Met some of the coolest people. Ate way too much. Kayaked. Snorkled. Saw Mayan Ruins. Yummy drinks. Not a bad way to spend a week, I'd say. (Never did make it shopping though...)

The DIS'ers made it most magical. Thanks guys!

Thx Cheri, he's my buddy from the last few cruises, he mentioned that he was taking a break in October, I was just curious if he had left yet.

So glad to hear that the weather settled down and people are smooth sailing again!!

Lampskies - I am not sure who the manager of Diversions was. I didn't really pay attention and the only time I went to Diversions was for the Pub night.
