We just returned from a WDW and Disney 4 nite cruise vacation. We hit the weather just right and had an awesome time on our very first cruise.Loved the verandah in our cat. 5 room on deck 7 midship. Seas were calm except for one day but no seasickness with our family. Food is incredible at every meal. We played at Atlantis and worth the Comfort Suites price to play there. Everything was just so perfect. Any questions...I'll be happy to answer. We booked on board for the Eastern 7 nite next January!! The cruise line Passprter Book was invaluable and I highly recommend it especially for first timers. It gives you so much more info than the ship gives you!! Marilyn :Pinkbounc

Welcome back- I am sure you have post cruise depression but luckily you booked again. So glad everything was as expected. I am cruising next January (2005) and was really curious about the weather - What was the temp at castaway cay?

Welcome back! Glad you had a great time.

So, were you able to use your verandah? That's my biggest concern, that it'll be too cold or too windy to use it.

Thanks,

The weather in nassau and Castaway cay was 80 degrees on Jan. 5th and 6th. We loved our verandah. It was beautiful at night to sit out there and look at the full moon. If you hang over the railing a bit it is windy but if you are sitting down in the chairs there is a lot of protection. It also depends which way the wind is blowing. It sounds like we hit the weather just right. Another poster who went on the 3-day right after us described weather that was not as favorable. We will go in Jan. again and take our chances due to lower price and school schedule. Marilyn

We are going on the 4 day in March so I have a few questions! Is there a formal nite? How about a midnight dessert buffet? Which nite are these events? What about a Palo Brunch on your sea day? Thanks!!!

Welcome home! Glad you had such a great time. I do have one ?. I know that they were testing out the Palo brunch this month - did they happen to mention how long this testing period was for? We're sailing on 2/22 and are hoping they're still offering it then.

There was not a Palo brunch offered on our cruise. The formal night was not really "formal" just nice dress and men in suits when we ate at Tritons. They do not have an officially named formal night...tux etc. on the 4 night cruise. The night we were in Nassau there was a tropical party on deck 9 with a late dessert and or'deuve buffet at about 10pm. Marilyn
