I was at EPCOT on a Wed and I left my AP in the MS FP machine...duh!! I kinda freaked out but calmly made my way to the guest relations area in order to get another AP. While we were in the area, a CM on a segway approached us and asked if we wanted to ride a segway...me and my GF were like, heck yeah!! They signed us up for a FREE Segway training class and small tour in order to test a new segway program they will be offering at EPCOT this Summer.
They will be offering a $45 class which includes a 45 minute training session and a 15 min ride in the park within a roped off sculpture garden area near the upside down waterfall at the Journey Pav.
This is intended for people to find out if riding a segway is for them or not unlike the $85 tour around the world showcase.
I had a great time doing this at EPCOT and it was really cool being picked to test the program for free. I love the segway now.
