I am going to make a blog, but thought I would put a few things for those there or coming soon! we had such a magical stay!

Our favorite foods..
Gingerbread Churro with mini M&M's by Goofys Sky School. The ginger taste is strong but we loved it!
Pumpkin Fritters at Royal Street Veranda, we were just going to get these once, and they were so good we got them again. Really surprised us.
Steak Gumbo Bread Bowl Royal Street Veranda- we may have gotten four bread bowls during our stay, and this was our favorite.
Raspberry Rose Macaroon-Jolly Holiday Bakery. I was absolutley in awe of the flavor bursts in my mouth when I ate this! My number one favorite treat! Wow! Even has fresh raspberries! Order on mobile order early, they run out!
Black Tap Brooklyn Blackout. This thing was bigger in real life then the pictures. We took it back to the Grand Californian and sat by the fire and shared it. The brownie was so fudgey!

Meh treats...
-Beignets and Strawberry Mint Julip. We usually love the beignets, but this time they were thin totally hollow and meh... and we wish we had just gone with the regular mint julip. We had heard there was cranberry, which we were excited about, but it was no longer on the menu.
-Chocolate cherry churro. I love cherry, so this was high on ly list. No cherry flavor and it jsut tasted like a plain churro. We thought it would be good with a cherry dipping sauce. Also The Cone was mobile order only. There was no line, so lots of people were just walking up and when they were told they just left, I was frustrated because I could not get the app working for some reason at that point. And I really wanted one. She told me I had to delete the app and re download. I just wanted the churro that was sitting in front of me. When I got it working I had to wait another 15 minutes for the return window, again, no one in line.
Also we got a turkey cranberry sandwhich at Earl of Sandwhich, which was disapointing. Again, I was excited about the cranberry, and it was not even on one side of my sandwhich, and the tinest smear on the other side. So no cranberry taste. So for me, it was bland.

We did not buy genie + the whole week. Definetly rope drop was the best time to get in lots of rides, then we would go back to our hotel midday to eat lunch, nap, read, watch Christmas movies, etc... and come out refreshed for the evening.

We loved The MistleToes show in DCA. We grabbed a bread bowl from Pacific Warf and sat and enjoyed the show!

We also employeed Single rider lines. Which were great. Basically walk on for RSR, Incredicoaster, and Goofys. In DL, we used it for SM, walk on, except for the last day they shut it down because of crowds, which I thought made no sense. Matterhorn, Smugglers, and Indy were all basically walk on too. They never had it open for Star Tours, we were told the reason was it is to small a space.

Make sure to go through Haunted Mansion at Night. We grabbed treats from Pooh's Corner and just enjoyed the lights and music from the line.

We took pictures with three different Santas- DCA at Redwood Creek, DL by Poohs Corner, and GC to the side of the lobby. Each time we got lucky and just had one or two people ahead of us!

We saw the firworks three times. One from the castle, one from small world, and one, by chance from Storybook canals. We had been told to make sure to go on that ride at night because some of the house have christmas decorations (I am actually glad we went during the day too, because you can see them better. But we got right to getting onto the boat when the firworks started. We were surrounded on both sides, and right near the sound system. Because it was unexpected I will really treasure that!

For the parade I prefer seeing it at night. We went and watched the lighting of Small world, and then turned around and sat down for the parade. I brought Kids stick on table plastic placements to sit on.

We also ended up seeing the Castle Lighting from three perspectives. One to the left, on in front and one to the right. We were standing in line for buzz the last night and it started so we got to watch from there!

Staying across the street was so worth it for us! We just took a Lyft to and from the airport, and did not have to deal with a renatl car or parking fees. It was so nice to have our room close to go back to in the middle of the day and at night when we were tired!

Also if you don't care about the full Mickey gingerbread, you can get the Mickey head gingerbread with frosting on it, back at Poohs corner for almost no wait!

I just came back on Sunday evening.
I don’t care for Earl of Sandwich. I recommend the Holiday sandwich at Jolly Holiday. It’s warm turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce (real whole berry sauce) on toasted bread with a side of warm gravy for dipping. It was delicious!
The gingerbread Mickeys I was only able to find at Jolly Holiday. The gingerbread Mickey heads are available by mobile order from Pooh Corner and the Candy Palace and Trolley Treats in DCA without MO. Both are delicious!

You had me at Steak Gumbo Bread Bowl and gingerbread Mickey Head. Ten days til we go!
