I believe the mansions are the smaller rooms. If you have more than 4 in your room(like us) you have to stay in AB. We loved it also. It came highly recommended and it met every expectation for us. I liked the walk to the pool and to eat , the exercise was nice and it is a relaxing walk.

All the rooms are exactly the same size, but you are correct that the trundle beds are only in AB.

We stayed in Magnolia Bend in the Mansions last August and LOVED it. It was very close to a bus stop, and near the pool and the food court. We don't mind walking though!

One caveat to those trying to decide between AB and the Mansions - you can make a request, but realize that it is only a request. I agonized over what I wanted to ask for, and eventually decided on the AB rooms. When we checked in (very late due to a late plane and misplaced luggage), they only had Mansion rooms available. We ended up being very happy with our rooms and our location, and I could have spared myself a lot of agonizing if I'd just decided to be happy with whatever I got. If you really would hate to be in the Mansions, or vice versa, you may want to pick another hotel!

On our next trip in August I know that we will be in AB since my husband is not coming, so we are a party of 5. I will be sure to post a comparison when I get back!
