First I want to say thank you to this forum for posting so much information has helped out my son so much on this trip. I found a few things that I wanted to post about to give you my experience.

1. We applied and got our DAS at guest services outside of EPCOT, maybe it was due to no one else being in line but we did not have to go to the inside guest services to get our DAS
2. I had prepared what I was going to say, had a doctors note, and several examples of issues from past trips and I needed only to mention my sons issue and I was granted the DAS, so at least for me just my sons diagnosis was all that was needed to secure a DAS
3. Philharmagic is one of my sons favorite rides but he is sensitive to the water that gets spit out during the show, I talked to one of the CM and she put a cover/mat over the seat in front of us so that the water was not spit out and he was able to enjoy the show
4. The finger scan did cause issues with my son, but I simply used my finger after he had difficulties with it and it wasn't an issue during the rest of the stay
5. We were able to skip the stretch room in haunted mansion, again my son loves the attraction but that room (especially with people screaming) really makes him anxious
6. I found if most cases if the stand by line was 20 minutes or less we were pushed through the fast pass line with out having a return time given to us.

Again thank you everyone for letting me find a way and knowing that I can make my sons favorite place easier for our whole family and especially him.

Thank you for this tip. My DD is the same way about Philharmagic. She's mostly bothered by water on her face so she always covers her face with her hands when that part comes, but being able to stop the water would be even better.

Was going to say the same thing I do not like the water at all. I have found that talking to the CM at the ride can really help people with disabilities to enjoy them better but some times I forget to talk to the CM too see if they can help. TSMMA you also get splashed on I wish there was some way to turn it off but I do not think there is. Yes you can get a DAS out side the park if the line is not long and they have the IPad

Us too! My son hates getting wet. This is a very helpful tip.
